I plan to make another video soon, where I explain the gear setup I use at my acoustic gigs. Please note that I will never promote any gear I don't actually use. But if I use something and like it, I'm always happy to talk about it and make recommendations. Like most musicians, gear is one of my favorite topics....

I have a Voicelive 2 and it really does add a whole 'nother dimension to my show. I use it sparingly but I love the reaction when it kicks in with a harmony and/or effects. Great piece of equipment. You nailed the settings!

I use TC Helicon Voicelive 2 also. The only pedal I have and take to gigs. This one looks good but over the top for me . I like "plug & play' . Learning curves to use a new piece of gear = $$ out of my pocket. I may /may not get a looper (the smaller Ed Sherran one)? Will see. 🎸🎸🎸

Playing music with Sib and Barry must have been such a great experience! The Helicon seems like a very versatile unit and I'm now thinking about how I could incorporated it into my live playing. Constructive video review input - The ending was very abrupt and led me to think I lost my internet connection. A re-cap and summary at the end would create a less jarring experience for the viewer.

I've been following your channel since I heard you sing Africa in the bar. In all honesty, you made me like that song as far an making it one of my all time favorites, and of course i learned how to play it as well on the guitar. I am in no way a singer with a voice range like yours, so I decided to purchase a VL3X, and to my disappointment it did not do miracles with my voice, but at least, now that i hear my own recordings, they're not as bad as before. I'm bringing this up, because I've watched all TC helicon videos and your voice has minimal help from this board. Big fan, always learning/enjoying your videos and hopefully once you start touring again (when pandemic ends) and you come to california, I'll definitely stop by your show. 🤟

I have two of these. I've used it in a full band and for solo acoustic stuff. Once I started loading in tracks, I was getting hired for more solo stuff, lol. It's an absolute game changer for acoustic guys like me. Starting a backing track with this instead of a tablet is just a smoother transition from song to song. The looper is second to none as well. I've even used it for my electric guitar when my amp blew a tube at a full band gig.

Pretty cool Mike. I used the TC Helicon Harmony Singer once in a recording studio for 3rd and 5th above harmonies. Pretty weird effect at first, but it was a lot of fun! Great singing/ playing as usual Mike, thanks for the review.

Hi Mike, Thank You as I hate reading manuals. I only use looper pedals to critique my playing or when writting songs. No doubt T.C. Helicon is at the top for natural sounding harmonies.Great Company producung Great Products.Just purchased one fron Niche at Sweetwater.

I discovered your talent a while back and I'm guessing you could sing into a soup can attached to a string and it would still sound amazing! Doesn't sound to me like you're using the pitch control on this product. Just wondering if you would use this for live shows or just for recording. WUT no rain that's fun. I have the VL 2 It is amazing I like the Beatles harmony's I haven't used a 10th of its capabilities but if the computer can track vocal harmonies in the key of Bb Im impressed. I tried pitch correction because I need it. it works pretty darn well.

I'd be SO grateful if somebody would see this & offer a little help? My unit's capacity for even CLOSE to accurate vocal harmony seems gone when I'm out of the key of C or G & enter any key like A that has accidentals. I'm keyboard based, but have MIDI out to IN from Korg Kronos to VL3X and have (under SYSTEM) enabled GLOBAL KEY. NO LUCK! A major harmonies sound like dizzy A minor! But C or G? Great? ..Any Help? Pease?

Global probably means one key for everything. You want a key per preset, not global.

@@mikemasse Hey, Thanks Mike! I just subscribed. I don't mean to be a pest w this issue, (Too late, Right Ha-ha! Sorry!) Seems like on a gig, U shouldn't have to manually change the key each time you use a popular preset like the 3rd Above harmony. I'm Midi-ed out from my Keyboard to the VL3X. I'll dig into the manual some more.

They didn't ask me for a review. They gave me no obligations to post anything on any condition. But I'm sure they were hoping I would like it and not mind sharing it. I think it showed a confidence in their product. As I said, I broke it, and so they didn't expect me to demonstrate it under those conditions, anyway. And Sweetwater didn't tell me what to say, either. This was my honest take on it/review, and I didn't mean to imply that they made it conditional. Like I said, I'm new at this, so I'll choose my words more carefully next time.
