For the pillows sliding off your pad, I have heard a few hunters recommend attaching 2 thin strips of velcro to the back of your pillow and a corresponding spot on your pad such that after you inflate both you can attach your pillow directly to your pad and you're good to go? Alternatively, pillows like the Trekology 2.0 come with a strap that attaches on both sides of the pillow and go around your pad. Then the pillow is trapped in place :)
