Bought this in 2020 and it's the perfect complement to a foam roller. And it's true, I'm sitting at my office chair and I'll just use it sometimes. Much more than the foam roller. Although the BEST is both, foam roller first, then finish off with this to get that IT band he was saying DEEP. Good stuff, I love my torture device.

I got one last year. LOVE IT. I used it on my arms also. The one side roll works great. Hold one side static and move the other side at different angles.

I got one a few months ago and love it! It is very effective and much more convenient than foam rolling.

Great review. I have owned one for about 3 weeks now and I was already using the one side static, one side rolling move on my quads and calf muscles. I also started trying out rolling in progressively in a circle around my thighs and working out knots with smaller movements!

I love this product. I was having trouble recovering from knee surgery because I had so much scar tissue and adhesions. I used this for one week and the pain near the meniscus and my joint flexibility were back to normal. I can't rave enough about this product.

Great review, and great tips to get more out of the R8! I've had one for about 8 months, in Australia they're super expensive but 100% worth it in my opinion.

Great review and esp. the part to use it at the more effective angles separating the muscle fibers etc, like a good massage therapist. The new one has adjustability which makes a major difference. All legs aren't the same lol.

This is the review I watched before buying the R8. It's awesome! My review video isn't quite as professional, ha.

It’s even more expensive now with the extra rollers over 200 bucks but this is a product that is well worth it

Thanks for helping me to find a better way to use my R8. I was scraping IT band scar tissue by hand with a spatula and lotion, but this is far better. And now I can do better work on my adductors, too. The only thing that my foam roller is good for is my back, but it's not essential. Have you tried the super plush roller option for the R8?

Great review. Will get it. Been hesitating, but makes sense. Foam rolling has gotten old and puts pressure on elbows at times. Expensive? Somewhat, but it's the same price as a pair of running shoes, or like somebody else posted down below, same price as 2 deep tissue massages.

how does the r8 compare to a massage stick roller? is it drastically better or the same?

I've tried it before it is a great product and I want to get it. Shipping to australia costs $55.40 though so it becomes expensive, nonetheless probably still worth it.

Oof, sorry to hear that- international shipping is rough!

I bought a cheap roller and it's fantastic on my calves. My calves get so tight I feel like they are going to explode

does a normal foam roleer gives a better message or worse?i just want a good knees and quicker recovery...
@TheRunExperience6 жыл бұрын
They both work great! Foam roller uses your body weight to do its work while this uses spring loading to add tension.

$120 is about the price of 2 deep tissue massages so not terrible. Good review! Makes me want to consider buying one

You won't regret it! My sweetie got one and I borrow it ALL THE TIME. Way easier to use and more effective than foam rolling
