just got a second hand talica 12 and a pe8 grappler, going to spool it with 80lb braid, what would you reccommend for the leader/topshot/wind-on, 120lb? meters etc? love the content

Is the rod is overhead or spinning rod for talica as most of the rods are spinning!

HEY Matt whats your thoughts on a shimano talica 8 on a Shimano t curve deep jig 200/24 kg?? running 50lb braid ?? would you attempt wahoo marlin and longtail from A viking reload kayak running 7kg drag?? Am i gonna do myself a mischief ???

I am looking to buy it, options for the line are 50lb and 80lb braid. What do you recommend? I'm thinking 80lb braid 300m?

Matt uses Shimano Ocea 8 pe8 line on his current set. Pe 8 is as thick as standard 80lb line, but the Shimano Ocea 8 has a rating of over 100lb.
