Something I always think is amazing is how Shave is explained here. Kicking the ground ten times in an instant, but needing training to control the movements... Remember Captain Kuro and his Pussyfoot Manuver, how he would constantly kick the ground to move, but would have no way to control his movements for extended periods of time? He was using an unrefined version of shave.

@@shivanshuverma9784 Zoro was almost always 1 step behind Luffy in fact. When they fought on cactus island Luffy was serious and Zoro was just defending himself. They were evenly matched. When Zoro mastered using Enma he almost caught up to Luffy again, but then Luffy got a power up and is now one of the most powerful fighters in the world. Zoro will likely power up once more and get close to Luffy again though.

273 was the first episode that I saw of one piece. A friend of mine at a LAN party (giving away my age here) was watching it, and I sat down and asked him what this show was, he gave me a little bit of background about cp9 being basically super strong secret agents, and told me to watch. Needless to say, I was immediately hooked, and started binging the series immediately. I love this show/manga so much, even have OP tattoos now.

Fun fact: Out of all the CP9s, only Blueno is the one who can move his body even when using tekkai (iron body). Hence the cartwheel attack he did earlier. As well as the first time he was shown using iron body and then punching the shipwright into his face (that's why the hit was hard too). So technically he is definitely stronger when he hits when in iron body form and have better command on his techniques. One of the reason why he was diffed so early off (that too by none other than Luffy) rather than any other cp9 characters.

Gear second is basically luffy accelerating his metabolism by increasing his blood flow. That's what he is doing by using his legs as pumps. This increaees his hesrt rate and thus causes him to sweat which is the steam coming of his body, the water vapor. Thus increasing his speed and strength for however long it is active.

Gear two was teased/foreshadowed when they attacked Franky House. You see it when Luffy is taking on one of the bigger ones in the Franky family with armor. He does the gatling move, but refrains from hitting him, stopping his punches just before. If i remember correctly, his arms get the Gear 2 glow, and he the gatling focuses into one point, one strike, and hits straight through the armor, one-shotting the armored dude.
