New thread for you lol, what about levelling after hitting the eighties, it's a bit slow, should I up the difficulty? I found a Reaper's toll for the first time ever for my Merc so that may help?

Yeah, that’s about when the leveling starts to slow down. And it will only get slower and slower. Go for high xp runs (Chaos Runs and Baal Runs) Farm high xp Terror Zones (Pit, Tal Rasha’s Tombs, Flayer Jungle) And keep the player count as high as possible while killing effectively/efficiently. Each player count gives +50% from the original P1 xp, so if you take 4 minutes to do Chaos or Baal runs on P1, you must not spend more than 2 minutes extra every time you raise the count by 1, otherwise it will not be worth it.

@@sonofgud ok will do that, thanks. Sounds like a slog lol. So say if I ran with Reaper's then mana management will suffer. I like not having to pot every two seconds. If I used the Insight myself over my dual spirits then I'll be severely nerfing myself right? I tried on a P3 black marsh TZ and it went ok, not really a noticeable difference to say I'd lost 4 skill point boosts🤔🤔

@@abyss6945 yeah it takes a long time. And it only gets worse from here.. I haven’t tried self wielding insight, but you would loose a lot of FCR for teleporting and a lot of mana + life also. I don’t think it’s worth it. Reaper’s Toll is nice for your pala merc, with might aura

@@sonofgud ah ok I'll keep hold of it for when I eventually get on with my Pal. Also I found a Gheeds for the first time in single player, yes took THAT LONG lol but when I booted the game up it wasn't there, I always sign out the game properly etc, confused

I truly apologize for all the questions, you actually ANSWER that's why lol but I've now found two 4os staffs, one +2 and the other +3 to Blizzard, can I utilise these somehow??

Don’t worry about it, I enjoy helping people with this game that’s why I made the channel 😁 Basically the only use for a staff with 4 sockets would be a Memory staff for prejudging energy shield, and then you would want +3 energy shield. Hands down the best weapon for sorc for a long time will be a spirit sword and spirit shield, until you find oculus or full tal set or have runes to make hoto or something like this

Oh and lol, get this, I'm in NM River of flame, STILL a BallHydra STILL players 8 and STILL have all my respecs haha, proud of me?😂😂😂 I was farming the super chests there to level as I'm a shade off using my Shako...would I be better getting to Eldritch to level to use my Tal set?

@@abyss6945 that’s awesome! I never took the fire sorc further than A1 nm, now I know what I’m trying for my next new character 😁 The best place to level until around 70-75 is Baal runs on NM. Eldritch is also very good, but Baal runs will get you there faster

Finally gave in and made the Blizz lol, I got as far as halfway through Hell Chaos Sanctuary with my BallHydra so I'm proud I managed that😅 but yes it's a certainly different playstyle

@@abyss6945 you’re on console like me right? The aiming is not perfect, just like teleporting. I usually cast one and then teleport on the other side of the mob and cast another and just keep teleporting back and forth like this and they die pretty quick. The best places to farm in my opinion is TZ Andy and TZ Meph. Preferably on players 3 or higher. Meph already maxes out at players 3 basically, so it’s a good place to get a lot of drops. Andy has a bunch of elite packs so it’s a good place to get drops and xp.

@@sonofgud yes on Switch, ah lol yes I noticed how the teleporting goes a bit funny sometimes. I've not unlocked TZ in Hell yet but have been running Meph a bit. I dunno, it seems to take an age to kill things. I'm maxed in everything apart from full ice bolt (??the first cold skill) and damage wise I have Snowclash, double Spirit, Tal ammy

@@abyss6945 yeah it’s not going to be awesome with budget gear, but it’s going to get the job done for sure. I usually go for a lore helm for one more skill. Or a 3 topaz helm for mf. Smoke armor for all res if you need

If you are on a low budget, make spirit sword, lore helm, smoke armor (for res) or stealth armor (for FCR). Make a spirit shield if you can find a monarch. Shop resistance or mf gloves and boots from Fara or Charsi in Nightmare. Start farming hell andy and you will find a lot of good gear.

You can also make a Rhyme shield for all res, cannot be frozen and 25 mf. Very solid to get you started

@@sonofgud yeah I’m trying to run Andy and eldritch schenk Pindar with a trapsin but it’s not really dropping anything haha 😂 Just put 3 ptopaz in a helm perhaps that will help

@@RickBomhof it will help for sure. Pindle, Shenk and Eldritch are all very good to run, the reason why I recommend Andy is because she has increased chance to drop uniques. So at least if you have teleport, you will be getting at lot more uniques and set items that way. It is something called “The Quest Bug”, which makes her always drop as if it was the first time you killed her. She cannot drop Arachnid Mesh and some high level stuff like this, but it is a good way to get a lot of other good gear, like Shako. Mephisto is also really good to run, and can be cheesed by standing on the other side of the “water”.

Awesome Sorc:) but I gave up on Diablo- the endless grinding and crappy drops just wore me down...Look at your magic find and you found nothing worthwhile in this clip...

In one hour of magic finding Andy or Mephisto with this character I usually find a handful of gear pieces that I end up keeping. It is one of the things I like more about Diablo 2 compared to Diablo 3 for example, where it is basically just raining legendaries and set items. But to each their own :)
