Nice looking guitar. I'd have to change the selector to a 3 position rotary switch and put a matching knob on it. Or 2 volumes, 2 tone pots with push pull pots for pickups on/off.

They are good mod project guitars.

Boy, you’re REALLY getting prolific there in your new home! 😉 That is certainly a unique look for a Les Paul! What woods are used for the body and neck underneath the spalted maple veneer?

I believe it's Mahogany - with a Maple neck. The Gear4Music stuff is the most affordable here.

Personally, I like the name because it's honest. It's the name of their shop, in Yorkshire, which sells all manner of musical equipment. It's like a UK Thomann. I'm not keen on made up brand names from a marketing department (like their other two that you mentioned, or indeed Harley Benton, which sounds completely fake). Most real guitar companies were named after their founders' first or second names, which gives more authenticity. Gear4Music is a good shop name, and seems reasonable to apply it to the in-store brand.

I suppose that's as good a way of looking at it as any!

Wow that's all I can say. That is one pretty guitar. Does she play as good as she looks?

Surprisingly well for a budget brand. On a par with some of the other brands that have featured on this channel over the years.

1 master tone and 2 volume knobs?

Yeah - I've had a few ask about that.

Why the question, volume for each pup and tone, just like a jazz bass😉

I tried this. It went straight back. Worst guitar I've ever tried. Bodged neck joint. Body made up of bits of left over wood. Total trash

sorry you got a bad one - this one wasn't that bad.
