Gasoline Hedge Trimmer Restoration | HT230

I found this hedge trimmer from Japan recycle shop, but it didn't make in Japan. There are few problems with this machine such as clutch drum, carburetor, piston ring and blade that need to fix.

Холостые большие, сцепление выйдет из строя раньше времени. На холостых режущая часть не должна работать(что на бензопиле, бензокосе, бензорезе с алмазным или корундовым диском и тд). С опора на поршне нужно было земенить(они уже разбиты), по хорошему вовсе поршень под замену, а цилиндр нужно было проверить на зазор колец в нем(если большой - замена), коленвал в подшипники нужно было садить на анаэробный клей(посадка просажена, убьёт со временем его). Короче ошибок простых хватает

If you press Ball Bearings in like at 15:15 you should press them in at the outer ring. In you'r scenario the Balls had to translate a angular force to the outer ring. This will most likely damage the Ball s in the Bearing and can lead to a much quicker failure. But i think you know that, thats why you use a older Bearing ontop but just wanted to let ppl know.

Great Job Sir. That valve thing inside the carburetor, is almost always bad... diaphragm, you called it.... Just plan on changing it..... It's always bad. They get brittle, they get messed up, they don't work....

@@gear_show You did change it... Later in the video, you went back in & replaced it... The first time through, I was surprised you didn't. I was suggesting, for future reference, you just change that every time the first time, and save yourself a headache...

@@Leningrad_DE не в новинку, на 95 эт вещь, на ногу уронишь - понравится. Да в прочем, это не самая большая. Лучше поищи в нете мультипликатор 1 к 1000 и больше, во удивишься какие головки на него цепляются под его квадрат

I have one of these but it called a T-Maker. Identical to your HT230. WhenI replaced the carb it ran ok. In your video the shears are moving after you start the machine on the bench, mine was the same. The shears are moving at idle, I have since been looking at videos to see if this was common, but I think not. This was part of the reason why I cut my finger badly, because the shears are moving even when not pulling the trigger. In your second start up on the grass I noticed the shears were not moving at idle speed, This way the machine is much safer to use. I will try to set my machine up so the shears don't move at idle speed. Are you able to tell me how you set up your machine in this way, do I tighten the bar screws? Great video, a fluke I have the exact same machine.
