I have a real soft spot for these Clios and I’ll watch the progress on yours with interest. Wish I’d kept hold of my phase 1 and phase 2 172’s as the prices are going up and up!

Tell me about it mate, the prices are mental. I won’t sell my 182 ever (owned for 12 years) my ph2 172 I just sold in January for 3 times the price I paid in January 2019 with 26k more miles 😂 Wish my 182 had less mileage, currently on 54k. People asking £7k-£10k for sub 40k mile examples.

Top tip if you see a 172 for sale with no mot for the usual £1k-£1500. Buy the car if it has its original cat. I have many times sold the cats for upwards of £650, with the most recent being sold for £830 during high prices.

Been through two of those Odyssey pc-680's on my Meglio and just can't recommend them for the road. Makes a bit more sense if your car is strictly track-only and you have it on a trickle charger between track visits but otherwise I'd steer well clear! Good to see the 182 coming along, would love to see it on ITBs eventually!

Good to see it working Luke, have a look at getting the “cruising” 6th gear in the gearbox, I think it’s like 0.638 which is what I have, really makes it shut up on the motorway

Cheers Charlie! I have indeed mate, just went with some normal black headlights and done away with the Xenons unfortunately. Probably should've kept them 😄 but hey ho! Think they might still be at Custom Production to be fair

Definitely need a trickle charger for the Oddysea Batteries to keep them top top. If it’s more of a road biased car I would recommend sticking to a standard Battery. Great build though 🤙
