@@charlesrocks The one I used in this video is total shit, I wouldn't recommend it at all. I recently upgraded to a Native Instruments Komplete A25 which is cool, but there are a lot of different kinds on the market that do USB MIDI and they'll all do basically the same thing with different features.

Coming from the mindset of someone who listens to Slipknot as a favorite band, this song can definitely be shaped into a Slipknot song with the right people, obviously. You made something that I don't think a lot could, even without the godly voice of Corey Taylor, and to imagine how Corey could make those words really sound out to the world is amazing to think about. The guitar parts themselves could also be improved upon, depending on the sort of album style that you could have gone with, or if it was an amalgamation of them altogether. Overall, there's real potential for this song. You should definitely see if Corey would be down to do an actual vocal cover of this thing. That would be wicked.

Sounds great! I agree with the other commenter that mentioned the chorus sounds a lot like Soilwork - it could be straight off of Natural Born Chaos. Don't sweat not being able to match Corey - you can change your guitar pickups, but you can't change your vocal chords!
