@@subjectdelta17 Maybe, maybe not. I have a feeling Anya might have drilled the rule NEVER USE THE HAMMER on Jinn. Since the Locusts were no longer supposed to be a threat anymore, she probably made it clear she considered it an ironclad law. What I think is that Jinn gernuinely respected Anya as a mentor and is trying to live up to her example. Its possible, even probable, that Anya showed quite a few ruthless moments. Rebuilding the world must have meant a large share of compromises and decisions Anya would not have made as a Gear. Also, it's a forgotten tidbit that Jinn was a Stranded in her youth and saw the Hammer's devastation from the side being shot at. In most people, it would create a deep loathing of the Hammer of Dawn.

Anya was in the room when they ordered those strikes which really screwed up her mind (GOW 3 Griffin tower mission) I think Anya was more afraid of the hammer being active without threat from locust/swarm than using it against on humans without repeating the cycle

We should also note that Jinn was heavily traumatized by the Locust War during her childhood which had an impact on her decisions as First Minister. She sent an army and a vulture again the Fenix Family because she knows they can’t get caught easily. Plus, Outsiders keep invading her settlements and having DBs guard the settlements avoided a war with the Outsiders (prevent actual gear soldiers from getting killed)

It used to, but I’d imagine that the COG initially sought (and found) an alternative fuel source for the Hammer once all the Imulsion went inert (and people finding out about its true parasitic nature). As for alternative weapons to replace the Hammer, with the Locust & Lambent gone there was no need to keep such weapons at all, with the Swarm only being a recent emergence by the time of the video’s conversation to warrant the idea of bringing such weapons back into the fold.

They abduct humans and place them in pods then juvies come out of those pods then those juvies go into nests and then become drones. Only the Scions are original locust but even they’re much different from before. Not only are they bigger and more durable they’re able to biologically make swarm drones stronger. Not to mention all the swarm creatures are nothing like the locust creatures from before except for maybe the Swarmak. There are snatchers and carriers and pouncers and flocks and there was that giant creature at the end of Gears 4 and the Kraken in gears 5. Myraa had a daughter before she decided to rule the locust and go underground. She had her daughter when she was still in the lab at Mount Kadar. You’re also wrong about halo too. You have the mindset of someone who can’t let go of the past.
