And even Gears 3 was nowhere close to as good as Gears 1 or 2. And that ain't a "subjective" assessment, the later games were just lower quality storytelling. The gameplay stayed pretty good though. So yeah, people remember when the games were good *all around* as "the good ol' days." Hopefully Gears 5 will be the best one yet, but we'll see.

right! everyone is kinda doubting this, it just seems like a side story (which might explain the new faces) horror/horde mode vibe with a poison gas closing the gap between the player and the end game, which I am honestly cool with. So in this gametype, you Break out of a gore monster, Are surrounded by enemies, only have pistols, and you have to then break out of the enemy base, then enemy army, then WHATEVER before you're free. That sounds amazing. IDK what you guys are shutting this down for, this hasn't been done before.

Yes wow, gears 5 is coming out even earlier than I actually thought it was September 2019 hopefully, I played gears4 enjoyed it now ready for gears 5, trailer looks good to me, I don’t know it’s so many bad comments about this short video. I think they will bring back some of the classic legendary heroes from Gears 1-4 in this game to unlock possibly by playing through multiplayer modes
