This playthrough is pretty ideal in terms of the inevitable requirement of luck on insane. Usually gears 2 has so many cheap, cheesy deaths on insane and you seemed to have avoided the short straws on all of the bullshit parts.

I find it hard to play gears they were mom's games and now it's hard with her passing almost a year to play them and knowing she never got to play 4 & 5 is even harder I got the Xbox one a month before her passing and she didn't want to play by herself and I didn't have a second controller

Keep firing at its rocket launcher Edit 2/8/21 you have to continually fire at his face, and make sure the rockets don’t hit you cause if they do its game over, make sure that you press RB to reload the M134 minigun

4:59:39 (Intense RAGE!) I HATE the gondala section you can not miss any shoot if you do it's a instant death, I've have died on this part so many time and it's become my most hated section of gears 2. Update I've FINALLY passed the gondala with only 61 deaths in act 4, and 116 deaths all together no big deal (Sarcasm)

Like me, I'm still in the gondola section, it's the last level I'm missing and it's hell :'v, and strangely the reavers of my game are faster update: I was able to pass the level, use the sniper along with the Lancer :D

I was playing gow 2 and act 4 where the lift comes in and there’s 2 boomer chargers and a few Theron guards, and each time I get to the scene we’re the lambert jumps on the lift to kill you, a few seconds later it just says objective failed during the cutscene???

Taking out the tower before entering mount Kadar seems to be glitching, it won’t register me destroying the locust outpost, as it would confirm, once I enter the cave, I’m stuck and the dialogue isn’t triggered. Did I miss something? Maybe I died one too many times.

I remember being 13-14, spending the day skating the highschool... or doing stairs on a BMX bike accross town in north st Louis over the summer. Then playing this game in the evening after lifting weights and feeling the testosterone seething through my veins up to my eyes while I took down colossal obstacles and slaughtered many fathoms of hoards In their depths while I had the slipknot 9.0 live album playing in the background because the 360 was fucking amazing. Now adays games are made to keep children docile or appease groups of sensitive little gaze. Opting for cartoon graphics and well formulated design. I miss the absolute grit and dirtiness of golden age games. Even god of war got cucked. Like wheres all the shit like dante's inferno? I need intense violence and unforgiving difficulty, not cushioned way point fetch games That feel like a chore, I want to be forced to adapt to brutality.
