I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety the majority of my life. I have recently started getting professional help after to being super resistant to it. It’s actually been helping me. I’ve never really played played Gears the most experience I have with it is good memories playing Gears 2 coop campaign with my late father back in 4th grade and beating the Gears 5 campaign a couple years back when it was free. Watching you though and with the announcement of E-Day has me really wanting to get deep into Gears and become a real fan after really only being a Halo/CoD player when it comes to online gaming. Dude, the punishing was so good in gears 3. My favorite gears movement and bounces would be Gears 1 UE. Gears 2 was great. I mean, its hard to really decide because all of them are just fantastic. GOW3 BETA in the moment was THE SHIT !! it ran for a month back when BETAS MEANT SOMETHING. i will never forget my 1st ever clutch in GOW3 BETA . it was on thrashball and it was 11 guys and i had both shotguns. i was in a party playing and one of them didnt have the beta and was being sour. i downed a guy with gnasher and they didnt know i had a pocket sawed off. other team went hard to revive that guy and i ran up and pressed the trigger one time with the sawed off and got a TRIPLE KILL. we all freaked out except for my buddy that didnt have the beta. he was like - CALM DOWN GOSH. and i was like - fuck off i just went godmode. and i would say im like a solid B+ player. not the best not the worst and cool stuff happens kinda alot. gow3 graphics blew me and my buddies away. so awesome still but back then it was CRAZY LOOKING especially when compared to other games at the time

Hit markers need to be removed in e day in ranked at least. It was so much better when you needed skill to know how hurt someone was. I still don’t use hit markers when I play gears 5 so I’ll feel right at home if they actually decide to widen the skill gap again in that area and hopefully others as well.
