It was really hard decision to choose who to save Del or JD. Del on one hand has been there for Kait throughout the campaign even finding out the biggest secret from the COG and her origins he was a straight up bro to her. And JD Marcus's son and kait's friend also been there but hes been screwing up he sorta redeemed himself by coming to kait herself and helping her and del on that mission.

Gears has always been more kickass, one liner fest with lots of action, but it always has its emotional hopeless moments. While it doesn't exactly resemble much in the single player storys moments, it does showcase the emotional weight of JDs life ahead of him, and taking the struggles and burden from his father.

This trailer is not only beautifully well produced and with excellent music to go along with it, but the meaning and emotional weight it conveys to a big fan of the franchise like myself is amazing. Throughout the series there are countless heart wrenching moments and down-to-earth scenes even in the over the top universe with crazy gore, weapons and enemies. This trailer perfctly illustrates the mood and core tenets of the games in such a short amount of time.

@@wickedweedle I didn't save Del because his whole role in Gears 4 and 5 is to be a great friend, he follows his close friends wherever they go, maybe because he is an orphan, consider them his only family. He has personality, but his decisions are based on what his friends want, like when he helped JD launch the missile or when he continued to help Kait, even though he discovered that she indirectly killed Oscar. Technically he is worse, because he is the type of person who has blind loyalty, while JD is a decorated Gear (Captain?), Who made some mistakes. I chose JD for that ... and he has an Australian accent.

Love this trailer. Do wish the game felt more like it. They probly felt pressure to have this really epic out of control story where it should stayed kind of small.
