Gears of War: Cinematic Comparison (Minh Young Kim's Death)

Welcome back to another video, everyone!
In today's video, we will be comparing the cinematic scenes of Kim's death from Gears of War and Gears of War Ultimate Edition.
Here are my thoughts: I like both cutscenes for different reasons. In Gears of War Ultimate Edition, the new cinematic graphics really brought the scene to life, making Raam look more powerful and unstoppable. The graphics made the scene feel very real. However, in the original Gears of War, they did a great job of capturing the emotion behind Kim's death. The build-up to his death was more dramatic, and Marcus's reaction was more heartfelt. Overall, I like both versions because they each bring something different to the table.

It always bothered me how Marcus had like three opportunities to shoot Raam or warn Minh in the original

RAAM threw reinforcements at Marcus’s team actually, by then Kim saw him but I mean what could he really do? Run? He would’ve been shot down.

I love the fact that in the original Gears, RAAM points at Kim while he's walking toward him, it's kind of funny..... and sad lol

My only complaint for the remaster is they didn't include the "Fall back!" shout. That was my favorite part of this cutscene.
