okay a few things: -the main reason the sentients were defeated is because the tenno, and their abilities, utilize void energy, which is poison to the sentients and nullifies their abilities (this was not because void is chaos, its because their creators literally designed them around being vulnerable to the void. the sentients we fight in game are also basically a single pebble compared to ACTUAL sentients that split tiny splinters of themselves off because the size of an actual sentient is about the size of the titanic if not a bit bigger. that is why the orokin needed the void to destroy them, because even their weaponry got adapted -murmur doesnt translate to anything. its an actual english word, its a synonym to "whispering" because a void god is whispering to the people who discovered him. the void in general is kinda difficult to assign traits to, because it either straight up copies what you show it simply creates what you think of (conceptual embodiment. any strong thought becomes reality the same way how davoth would "create" things. just godly creation although from a different dimension) -the tenno are also immortal. the only time we actually died, another version of us just popped into our reality and we got sent back to the place where we became tenno. our soul and immortality seems to be tied to the god who is from the void. so i doubt hell corruption can take any frame or tenno until the man in the wall is dealt with. a dozen frames also have overguard, which is essentially a shield that prevents any effects from taking hold of you (even if its getting knocked down or radiation, shit bounces off) so corruption would very likely have to get through THAT as well, especially since overguard is something thats not just Gameplay but actual lore. every Eximus unit has one and its confirmed that every faction has a percentage of their soldiers that are eximus. warframe lore is really fucking messy and gets one punch man-y if you look to closely

Uh, yes and no, the Sentients were defeated because it was a plot hatched by Sun Hao and Ballis, to use the Tenno to wipe out the Orokin and then the Tenno, by The Sentient fake a loss, which backfired on them. Sevagoth. Sevagoth basically can't be killed. You could rip out the very soul from the warframe, and his automated demon jacket would just rip out your soul to replace it and he'd go right back to work reaping and pirating literal souls. Pair that up with nekros and Dante and you're basically just getting your soul voidblasted out of your body, recycled, tortured, and then sent into an alternate reality where it has no meaning and poses no threat whatsoever

The tenno actually have resistance to soul absorption AND soul corruption, given that you could prevent your soul from being taken away from your body by the Twin Queens. I disagree that tenno have resistance to soul absorption/possession. The tenno had to cut off their connection with their warframe (which is what the twin queens had access to) with the help of both Teshin and Ordis to avoid being possessed by the Elder Queen. Its indicated that the Tenno wouldve been possessed otherwise. I dont recall the Tenno resisting being possessed by the Man in the Wall though. I might want to look into that

warframes actually are mass produced! the limit you'd encounter is how many tenno there are (which by estimates for a colony ship is a couple thousand, maybe 5-10k?) but the reason you can just craft a warframe is because these frames were literally copied down from their original form into blueprints and then mass produced later!

I think you are treating Argent energy like it's just heat too much. The humans in the Doom universe were quantifying it's energy level as a measurement of heat because that's the only metric we know, but if it were actually that hot, it could not be exposed in atmosphere without MAJOR side effects. Considering most of our examples of Argent are in atmosphere, we have to assume it is either not as hot as the readings indicate, or there is some other factor at play. No matter which is right, it would not just act like regular heat, so assuming that everything will react to Argent as if it was impossibly hot material is provably false.

@@StartouchArts 70x Tsar Bomba is not NEARLY enough to blow up the moon, bud. Seriously impressive, yes. But moon or planet-destroying? No. The Tsar Bomba had an explosive yield of around 50 megatons of TNT, (although it may have been able to do double that if ever used for real, as the Soviets actually removed one of the components to dumb it down a bit for their test), which is equivalent to about 210 trillion joules of energy. The Moon has a gravitational binding energy (i.e. the amount of energy you'd have to put into it to actually destroy it) of about 120 OCTILLION joules, which is 500 quadrillion times the Tsar Bomba. Last I checked, 500 quadrillion is just a tad larger than 70 😜 Nova's destructive feat of turning an entire person into pure antimatter doesn't even match up to the time Atlas destroyed a planet-ending asteroid by punching it, a feat that would have required at LEAST 175 sextillion joules (this estimate is based on low-asteroid density and an object 100km in diameter, which is about the smallest it can be for it to be able to end all life on our planet, according to NASA). This kind of crap is why I said Warframe power-scaling is super weird. You have Nova's antimatter-human explosion, which is a level of destruction that is already so unfathomably large it's ridiculous, and then you have Atlas' asteroid punch, which is BILLIONS of times more powerful than that, which seems kinda silly, but that's not even necessarily considered to be the most impressive display of power by a Warframe. And that's without even bringing in all the Void shenanigans, portals to alternate planes of existence, elder gods, guns that shoot black holes, etc.

Limbo is a god in the rift, isnt a dimmension, is a non existen space between the reality and the void, and the void isnt a dimension, is a whole difrent mess. Since the space limbo walks in isnt existent but for himself, he picks what exists and dosnt there, warframe lore is full of one punch man stuff like this.

Hi, warframe nut here. In gameplay there is the Eidolon Sentient enemies that are immune to all forms of damage and require void energy to bo exposed to harm as well as lures that make use of void energy to limit the Eidolon's power and mobility. Against normal Sentient adaptation a hit of void energy resets the 90% damage resist so void energy as a game mechanic counters Sentient damage immunity. It was how they were even capable of fighting. In lore, the Tenno capable of void power as they are used void power, a well of infinite power and potential, everything and nothing, the power to pierce through Sentient adaptation and were equpied with stronger Warframes/weapons with the Prime varients of things. They were at the peak of their game to fight the strongest of the Sentients. In lore what we see in the Origin system is a vastly weaker side to a lot of factions that were gathering power. I don't know much about Doom, seen a speedrun or two but that hardly tells me about the lore of the attacks there. But is demon energy paracuasal in some way? Could it be argued to have a property that could similarly nulify the damage resistance? I don't know but otherwise while the weaker Sentients could be argued to be killed in lore/gameplay I would argue at least the stronger Sentients would be resistant to just the stated heat of the attack. Sentients can reach 100% resistance in lore and sometimes in game as mentioned above. ALSO, Also, the Tenno are immune to corruption. there is Corruption in the VOID that makes Corrupted enemies (literally in the name) corrupted by the infinite power/chaos/possibility of the Void but the tenno are shown to be immune to this. Unless you believe chaos corruption to be stronger than infinite power/chaos/possibility BS then no the Tenno wouldn't be corrupted, arguably the last people fighting but fight they would. Some Tenno are invincible, like damage immune to everything, so I'd argue they could tank the raw heat being generated by the demons, again it'd come down to if there was paracausal BS to get around immunities and that is a hard mess to start arguing. But I'm not about to argue an individual Tenno could deal with universal demons from what I have seen so yes I'm not sure they can win. But they aren't gonna die to just average shots of satan's balls. Also you missed the strongest in the Warframe universe. The man in the wall, an ancient entity discovered in the Void that is both spewing out infinite void energy and potential while being the personification of the Void, that decided to make a deal with children stuck in the void casually and created the strongest faction in the verse, the Tenno... But also we don't know anything about him past vague theories, guesses and snipets of truth. I do rekon it would prove to trouble demons and I'd argue at the very least would counter a lot of Demons stuff passivly and would end up trying to corrupt Hell in Void's image. Though admitedly yea Warframe doesn't win if the man in the wall wins, everyone loses if the man in the wall wins that.

@@HarmlessRealityBreaker Idk if you can bring 100% damage immunity into lore though. Lorewise a grineer can kill sentients, probably due to the fact that sentients getting stronger when facing high tech implies sentients will do worse against lower tech enemies like Grineer. Those grineer such as the one described in the Lancer Synthesis lore entry and Kahl did only fight against lower tier Sentients, but I dont see any reason to believe that higher tier sentients would actually have 100% damage immunity lorewise to everything that Hell throws at them, including the Titans and Davoth. I mean Hell was somehow able to shatter earth's moon (we dont know how though), I just dont see the Sentients being immune to that kind of stuff. Additionally, Hell was advanced enough to synthesize their Hell essence with wraith essence to make Argent Energy. They would probably be able to incorporate void energy as well if they ever interacted with void beings. In terms of "paracausality" Davoth was able to empower the Doom Slayer to kill the Khan Maykr who was "destiny-bound" to lead the Maykr race until the next Maykr was born. Since there was no next Maykr, we can see that Davoth could empower the Doom Slayer to defy destiny. Davoth also empowered the Doom Slayer to exist as a constant among all possibilities in all future timelines. Davoth would naturally possess these abilities himself unless he can only give these powers but not use them (which does not seem very likely). Its unknown whether or not he ever gave these sorts of powers to anyone other than Doomguy, but he likely would if he had to.

argent energy may be on a higher level than void energy (the demons basically run on argent energy), so i think it COULD be argued that it nullifies that resistance. i think that it should be worth noting that the energy released has surpassed even the THEORETICAL LIMITS of power by a lot, a single handheld argent-based battery/accumulator was on the level of a whole nuclear reactor. and the demons are more or less overflowing with this energy. however comparing this to void energy i feel like is kind of comparing apples to oranges, i think void energy is treated more like magic/mana than an energy source. like, we don't usually see whole planets powered by void energy, it's used mostly specifically by space children to fight aliens. im probably wrong about a lot of things so please let me know.

So about the sentients…. The grineer only really stand a chance because ANY sentient that crossed the void into the system is weakened and unable to reproduce. Hunhow and the lotus both mention how the void both weakens them and makes them infertile.lore wise they’re more like the farro swarm from horizon. Self replication terraforming ability (they started as terra formers for the tau system) and they posses a pseudo oro or soul. Souls in the warframe universe are also different than normal. A oro can live beyond even death and very few posses such thing. The Tenno, Orokin, and sentients are the only one known in lore to posses it. It also has the distinct property that only those with oro can permanently destroy another’s. It’s part the reason why Tenno are so strong against sentients and how they permanently killed the orokin.

12:30 Okay imma have to stop you right there, Argent Energy is not "stated in lore" to be Absolute Hot, it's stated in lore to be stable at temperatures above what conventional plasma could sustain. In scientific terms, this means it remains in a coherent semi-solid state well into temperatures where normal plasma would become incoherent (i.e. flames), and can rival the output of suns in energy capacity, making conventional nuclear power obsolete. So yes it is like lightsaber hot, but it is nowhere near "absolute hot" and it absolutely can be blocked by ultra strong heat-resistant materials. If Demon blood was Absolute Hot, that would make their flesh outright immune to the concept of heat

While i do agree with you in that i think the tenno can be corrupted, there is actually a lot of evidence it would take far longer than the timeframe you've stated there. In the chains of harrow quest, there was essentially a frame who had contained the "corruption" of the void (something that corrupts anything almost instantaniously). There's a lot of debate as to how long it has been since the orokin empire, but its fairly safe to say its been around 10,000 years. It had taken ~9500 years for a tenno to be corrupted by something that corrupts things instantaniously so i doubt the corruption for them would be a serious issue.

The demonic corruption is generally more powerful. I’m being VERY lenient by saying it took weeks to corrupt humans. Just a single artifact from Hell did that and we don’t know the time frame. 1 Titan corrupted all of Urdak the moment he appeared. Urdak is a higher dimensional plane with godlike beings known as the Maykrs. He corrupted billions of them in a second. Considering that an invasion would involve literally billions of invading demons and hundreds of thousands if not millions of Titans it’s likely this corruption is vastly more powerful than the Void’s. The Void is a whole universe that corrupts individuals. Demons are individuals who corrupt universes.

The thing with void corruption here is that, metaphorically, the man in the wall has his hand tied due to missing a piece of himself, which is why in canon lore he can’t instantly just waltz into the prime warframe timeline. In every other timeline, the man in the wall’s mere existence corrupts all of real space for every other timeline instantly, among things like merging said timelines and being able to hop freely from any point in time. For anything to be able hold their own against such a force, even for millennia, would more likely be more than enough to survive any corruption from demons and argent energy, and that’s also assuming the man in the wall doesn’t get instantly upset that something is trying to steal what’s his. And at that point it would end up being a debate of “my infinity is bigger than yours.”

Nekros and Sevagoth we dont really get feats for controlling things. 55:50 honestly thought it would have been something like Saryn, Limbo or Gara to be the most useful. Saryn can create plagues which in hindsite might not work on demons, Limbo with his ability nonesense can trap all the demons and just freeze them in time, Gara can turn people to glass 56:40 as for the soul nonesense. The void might be able to erase souls since a certain sentient on earth can use its soul to rebuild its body and the void beam can destroy its soul 1:02:00 you forgot one major character in the list of things. Hunhow or the sentient army. Hunhow is described as a destroyer of worlds who's only weakness was the void and warframes 1:03:00 im sorry. are you including god in their invasion? if you include litteraly all of their strongest random feats you also have to include all of the Warframe universe working together and dont forget that one cold laser gets cold enough TO FREEZE MOLECULES and also if the kahn makyr can just look into every possibility why tf did they loose to the doom slayer? 1:04:43 did you just say the demons have immunity to cold and heat? Doom slayer litteraly uses ice grenades and a flamethrower to kill demons 1:07:40 the warframes fight the eidelons and creatures like Lephantis so they can deal with giants. 1:08:20 good point about the heart though if it was that easy i feel like either Hunhow or the stalker would just destroy it so there might be more that we didnt get in the gameplay 1:08:50 the only people that know about the heart are the Entrati so the demons wouldnt know about it unless they venture to Deimos though mind you that they are protected by Necramechs who are mechanical In conclusion I feel like you give major buffs to the demons with infinite heat and argent energy and immunity to things they definitly die from constantly. while yes there are some points such as the heart on deimos being corrupted others dont make as much sense such as demons having infinite heat immunity when the slayer uses a flame thrower and the demons GET BURNED BY REGULAR FIRE and freeze from ice grenades. Yes i went through the whole video

saryn's powers also account to corrosion, which will melt demons and their weaponry. and that's besides the fact that the plague itself will grow around and inside the demons. which includes their equipment, so something like a revenant cannon would probably blowup from getting blocked up by the spores. we have seen in the games that the demons can be killed by mundane weapons. most of the arsenal of the doom guy in doom 2016 comes from stuff normal soldiers were using that he took for himself. so if they are killed by normal guns, they can be killed by everything in the warframe arsenal as well.

Lorewise, the sentience would actually adapt to Argent energy. Gameplay wise, heat still absolutely destroy them. But in the new war, the sentience were literally in the surface of the sun, feeding of it. And that's on its weakened state. The "mother" ship literally eats entire stars to create and power more sentients. And the sentients casually just fly near the sun. Given time, the sentience would eventually see the demons as free energy. Story wise, the Sentience would be the biggest threat if it wasn't for the fact that the Tenno's void beams reset their adaptation. Unfortunately warframe is a numbers game, and the average experienced player's damage is pretty high. So it doesn't translate quite as well to the gameplay.

Ohh boi im gonna have a good time picking your knowledge on Warframes, here we go. Warframes themselves DO NOT have a soul. The versions of warframes our tenno are using are biological clones that we craft and replicate with blueprints that we find. So the warframes the flesh puppents are immune. Now the operators, the children that gained superpowers could become corrupted. But they need to be in close proximity with the demons to work. And because the operator uses transference to control the warframes they can't be corrupted at all until they go in there with their own bodies. But with the power of the void and mastery of it, could lessen the corruptions effect. Atlas did destroy the meteor with his bare hands and technique. In the leverian it states that Atlas lied down and listened to faults of the asteroid. Then his rumblers started beating on it like a song, until Atlas himself finished the "chord" with one punch and crack the asteroid and then exploded it. Now in the new quest "belly of the beast" it explain some bit of Warframes power source. The operator themselves said that a warframes power source should be able to last forever. Their power source comes from the void via the heart of deimos. The heart pumps void power throughout the system and to the Warframes that we control. Now the Warframes abilities use that same void energy to make their abilities work. Now in the quest "Call of Tempestarii" we see how much energy is stored in one frame in a particular time. We throw out Sevagoth (the space pirate warframe) into Earth's orbit and it fucking explodes into a huge void explosion. Now if i was a calculatin man i would calculate the surface area of that VOID explosion and compare it to the surface of the earth. But i ain't a mathematity so wtf to i know. All i know is void energy is absolutely busted for space magic reason. Now about what void is. My understanding is that it's a powerful energy that could be wielded by the operator because it was granted to us by an eldritch being called "The Man in the wall". This motherfucker killed all the alternate versions of our operator (besides the drifter who survived the reality wiped using a paradox inside the void to avoid it), making them immortal and granting them with the powers of the void. Limbo canonically mathed hard enough that he died. Nah he actually made a miscalculation through another dimension and fucking fucksploded. Explaining Rhino is wtf. Nobody fucking knows how that shit works. Edit: now that i understand that warframes powers are void powered, then he actually just makes it realized using the void.

warframes do have a soul. but that soul is already corrupted by the void AND the infested. so if any demon wants to try and corrupt it, it will have to deal with 3 diferent entities at the same time. also, the void is a literal eldritch being. which is far FAR more powerful than the demons. finally, demons themselves would have a hard time dealing with the infested, let alone the tenno who eat them for breakfest with no issues. warframe weapons also are VERY brutal, they make doomguy's arsenal look like a children's toy. the super shotgun wouldnt hold a candle to the tigris prime. and pretty much any bow in warframe would out damage the ballista. warframes are used to fight and convert other techs into their own. so, its not a case of "the demons can corrupt the tenno", but the tenno might even be able to literaly possess the demons themselves. and then there's the sentients. the beings that are able to become immune to any damage. while also corrupting tech. so here comes a baron of hell, but oh no, his weapons are no longer working, because they got in range of the influence of a sentient. and now, those weapons are in control of the sentient themselves. when trying to bring a trully dangerous foe to the tenno, and even the big threats of warhammer will get slaughtered. but the hundreds. so yes, the tenno would be able to deal with the demons of doom. you might not even a full army of tenno to do it either. depending on the arsenal, just send a nekros with a paracesis and some incarnon weapons, and you will suddenly have revived demons fighting alongside him. and each foe he kills he raises to join his army.

@@rougarabid This was actually supposed to be a joke, I wasn't trying to be mean. I know you said it, so I was being meme-y. But yeah, as you probably read already, the Tenno are actually more resistant to corruption than you might think due to having to keep the Man in the Wall from corrupting them, as well as there actually being a faction called the corruption. As for the Warframes, only the first ones were actually made from people that I understand, with Umbra being one of them. The rest are actually soulless puppets, masses of infested flesh in armor shaped a certain way for the Tenno to use transference on. And there are countless numbers of those warframes. The reason we can craft them is because we derived the blueprints from old orokin tech, which are the Prime Warframes. Sadly, the power of our derived warframes aren't as good as the Orokin masterpieces, though it's good enough. I think a certain youtuber called warframes 'bullshit metal ninja'. He wasn't entirely wrong, though only because the infestation can have flesh like metal and isn't wholly organic. For as shitty as the Orokin were, they knew how to craft. The strength of the Tenno isn't just the physical strength and their powers, but in their sheer relentlessness. Destroy a warframe, and they'll keep coming back. They have shields, they are durable, and they are agile and fast. They can parry lasers (or plasma, no quite sure what Vor's beam was) and they can dodge quite a bit too. So, while I don't think one can take down a super heavy, the way they swarm and their void powers might be able to harm them. Dunno about the Icon of Sin and those in that class, though; that may be a bit too much to handle.

The thing about the sentients is that the Tenno use their void fuckery to negate their adaption, you can do it in game, however a decent enough smack can mess then up, hence why grineer "tech" messes then up, speaking off they have rotten bodies but they are stupid strong, that doesn't change much but they are Ronnie Coleman kind of strong.

Grineer tech messes them up because sentients are already exposed to the void. They had to cross it to reach the origin system so they’ve already lost their full adaptation and self replication. (Source: the natah quest and Hunhow)

Alrighty, I would say i'm going to keep this brief but that's quite literally impossible and i'd probably have to write a 100 page essay just to counter some of these points... Spoilers... Like a lot... Let's start with the doom universe: -I mentioned this before in one of the other videos but to repeat that comment in a more concise manner, "Observable temperature" and "Quantity of energy" are not the same. A negative lightning bolt is hotter then the suns surface and routinely fails to kills humans when striking them, while the core of the sun is 270(ish) times as hot as the surface of the sun the energy density considerably higher then the outer layers of the sun, in principle this means the amount of energy contained in matter vs the amount of actual matter is extremely relevant when it comes to the damage it can cause. the stream of plasma that is a lightning bolt is about 2-3cm's across yet despite its temperature carries significantly less hazard then a small chunk of stellar plasma. The ardent energy blast of the imps and such may appear very hot, but i would struggle to believe the word of a scientist who claims to have measured an attack in flight and read a return that indicated higher understood, but assuming what he says is actually true, depending on the energy density it may do considerably less then its temperature would suggest. -Also, not sure how this would correlate but the Makyr tech could control Revenants suggesting at least some aspect of the hells corruption could be circumvented by external influence. And now for Warframe.... For some perspective on how long i've played the game i'm a True Master, i hit true master a few days after it was possible... -The void can best be described as the infinite potential of nonspace prior to its conversion into actual space. Pockets of reality form and dissolve within it but its not a reality or dimension so much as the place between them. Think of it as the ocean while every other existence is a boat on the surface. Travel through the void is faster compared to outside because existence in there is predicated on thought. When the void encounters thought and blends a thing is created. This is because the presence of that mind with the thought essentially filters infinite to a finite result. It is also possible for thoughts to duplicate when interacting creating a duplicate who may or may not perfectly match the original. For example Duviri(an entire world within the void which reshapes daily to hold different aspects and whose controller can restart time on a whim) was created by one copy of one of the Tenno. This is the equivalent of you shouting into a cave, and the echo of your shout gaining sentience and recreating Mars with sound to live in... ...before leaving the cave later and its sound mars behind to come kill enemies on your behalf while you hang out somewhere else... -The Heart of Deimos is a gateway to the void, the original one in fact, converted to create a stable stream of void energy into Sol System, it was very important until Zariman tore a hole in reality and sat in the middle of it keeping it open. That said it only really effects Warframes and some other Orokin technology, not Necramechs, and certainly not the Tenno themselves if they aren't channeling through a Warframe. Also, the Orokin family managing it kept the moon phased out of existence making it inaccessible until it was phased back into existence. This means it was in the void and able to keep functioning from the void to fulfill its role. Much like the Tenno were kept safe in the void by phasing Lua into the void. -The Orokin... They had technology that makes some Makyr tech look primitive. They had serums that could temporarily or permanently transfer their soul into another body. Could create biological impossibilities even before they touched the void, created the Sentients, created the Infestation, weaponized the infestation to create controlled mutations enabling the creation of Warframes via controlled infections in normal humans. An Orokin working in tangent with a Sentient created a ship that could eat stars and covert that power into usable energy. (A small portion of this power created a void rift big enough to let a piece of the man in the wall into our reality and thats definitely not good for anyone, demon or otherwise). Created a weapon that could trap souls in glass. Created a weapon that despite being physical could pierce and undo sentient adaptability. Used the infestation to modify others into conduits for void energy that also happen to be physically terrifying opponents. Also, know as Warframes. -Warframes... Woo, let me tell you about the frames. Those metal ninjas are biological entities who have been genetically rewired to secrete armor grade metal from their pores to replace their skin, generate a number of specialized organs for abnormal abilities along with replacing most of the vulnerable bits with a regenerating mass of meat. They also, as stated above, are conduits for void energies which is how the Tenno(the beings who possess them) link with them. The Tenno themselves are possessed of an ability to calm the frames tortured psyches and soothe their pains to bring them to a point where they mentally sync up temporarily acting as one. They can still operate without a Tenno though including utilizing various powers through their specialized void channeling bits as evidenced by multiple lore entries and everything about Excalibur Umbra. Every single warframe can float, release a cocktail elixir that can heal lethal wounds in seconds, convert living beings into energy and transport them to other locations, move fast enough to deflect both kinetic and energy based attacks, and thanks to their ubiquitous shields and regenerating armor survive a wide variety of attacks(at least the frames that have shields) including some insanely dangerous environments such as the sun. Now not all of this is purely with what the Warframes themselves bring, as they have a variety of support equipment with them including really big freaking guns, really big freaking melee weapons, mechs that can duel wield both types, the Archwing flight pack which enables them to use their giant weapons in space and can also be used to fly around in atmosphere and come with their own variety of powers such as creating fighter drones, shields, and small black holes among other things. That's ignoring half of what they are capable of such as the pieces of several Warframes coming together somewhat haphazardly and creating a void crystal skeleton to help them work as one. -The Tenno... on the one hand i'm glad you missed these since the story sequence about them is pretty epic. In the interest of continuing to not spoil anything specific i'll avoid digging too deep. They are essentially energy state beings, that energy is void energy. They can warp reality incredibly easy, purge corrupting influences from others(one Tenno held off a void entity responsible for them being Tenno long enough for them to develop enough to hold it off themselves), heal others, strip the defenses of others, teleport at will, turn both invisible and invulnerable, and the weapons they use basically ignore physical durability of the target. Invulnerable enemies in games often have their defenses brought down by these weapons, they channel void energy in a focused form. That's basically what i'll say about them, there's a host more to know including the previously mentioned world in the void that was made by just one of them. There's of course more, like Corpus tech sealing of dimensions, or isolation vaults of deimos's cambion drift, or the fact that railjacks are powered by a giant finger from the first void explorer(who was normal sized at the time) that was lost in the void and, due to the copying effects of the void at times, ended up they with several of them to power multiple ships. Also more stuff, but its too much to do in text so im going to stop abr

As many have said, wally, AKA "the man in the wall", is a giant wildcard you didnt mention. The actual source of the Tenno's power is some deal they made with him, which they don't remember the details of, because lotus rushed them out of cryosleep in the intro, causing amnesia. The "heart" isn't the source of the void power, it's a channel basically, of course it's very hard to guess how that would go though, since the devs are extremely conservative on information about him. Also on sentient resistances, the base fodder sentients you fight in missions cap at 90% resists. The actual sentient bosses are something else, and usually directly require heavy ordinance, void damage, and/or tricks to even scratch, so it dosn't look like the higher up sentient command units are limited to that "only 90% resist" limit that their soldiers have. As an ingame example, multiple stages of the Eidolon hunt boss hunt missions, such as the start, directly REQUIRE void damage, and nothing else hurts them, the local armies have no choice but to avoid them. Last but not least, no mention of the warframe universe AIs?

Demons such as the Summoner can instantly induce death upon an enemy even without physically causing destruction on them, possessing their dead bodies. Even if a Tenno comes back from this, their Warfrane would be added to the armies of Hell. Pure Argent Energy itself can also corrupt and make insane night sentinels, despite them already capable of resisting the wraithcall which drives other beings mad. Even lower tier demons have hax abilities that would fuck up the Tenno. The Man in the Wall stomps? You downplayed a warframes baseline physical strength.... Yes they aren't all Atlas or Rhino levels of strength, but! They are all strong enough to rip apart some of the corpus's biggest mechs with their bear hands ----> Fortuna, Profit Taker boss fight. Also Demons finding Parvos Granum? The guy who practically created his own version of the void!? No way! There's a reason he's still alive right now, he's to hard for even the Tenno to reach. (Parvos's "void" can has it's flow of time altered, so one can imagine he'd have enough time to think of sure of weapon to deal with the demons.) The Infested have one two giant notables you didn't mention, 1 they can fuse together to gain adaptability (aka: Juggernauts), 2 they can Infest an entire planet to it's core. Yes! The Sentients are able to become completely adapted and resistant in lore, but not all. There are now lesser Sentients that don't adapt as well. Sentients resistances get striped by void energy, that why Tenno can kill them (Also! If DE believed players would remember to void blast them continuously, they would've probably allowed the Sentients become completely damage immune). Again, just a reminder, Tenno beat Sentients with VOID energy. Sentients physical strength should be above The Grineer's (see New War). "There is no evidence that they are immune to the corruption" What that hell!?... Uhmm like, what is void corruption? Warframes can resist corruption via conceptual manipulation, but not soul manipulation? That just doesn't work. Look, you may want to research TMITW (The Man In The Wall) to get a better grasp on corrupting power of Void energy; but Demon corruption doesn't hold a candle to Void corruption, also it would easily blocked by "Transference". (This part is late) No, no, no not all Warframes are created via infection/experimentation of a living being, there's only a hand full of warframes like that; But! Warframes has been shown to slowly gain they're form of sentients/personality? Overtime (Ex: Chroma and Mirage, they be extremely violent and angry without a Tenno's control). (Note for myself 29:37, finishing later) Warframes are nearly indestructible, Most of the frames defeated are put in situations where they can't escape/leave (normally protecting their Tenno). It does highlight that, yes, enemies in Warframe are using extremely powerful firearms. Again! Not all Warframes were living beings! Most Warframes are Gen 2 frames, meaning they can be reproduced. Ok, ok, wow! That Warframe section is... rough... First, Limbo has complete control over his "Rift" he can complete clear it out and manipulate time within it. I don't think the Demons have time resistance. Secondly, The Elemental Warframes can hurt the Demons with there abilities... Warframes notoriously have ways to reduce/remove defenses and resistances. You mentioned mods, so let's mention mods that boost things like "status duration"; You said Frost's freezing effects won't hold long, but mods increase the freezes effectiveness (Also Frost can instantly kill any target he freezes). I'm going to rapid fire most elemental Warframes to prove they're not "Useless": Ember - Immolation (Granting even more DR), Hydroid - Corrosion (He literally has Corrosion all over his abilities), Gyre - Coil Horizon (Let's her pull enemies around), Atlas - Petrification, Zephyr - Pretty much everything is fine here, Yariel - Can lift up things with bubbles plus Water twisters and Merulina making her harder to kill. Two Special notables, are Chroma and Lavos, for Chroma it's debatable if the Demons could deal with Vexing Armor, and Lavos has access to Corrosive and Viral. The Elemental Frames are not "useless", the majority of them have something that would cause big problems for the Demon. (Was going to mention Saryn, but I don't know if you count her as a element Frame.) Before I continue, I want to said that I believe you've downplayed the Warframes Mods (though not intentional, there's a lot of them). You should've looked into the Mods themselves more. I think I see why you skipped the "Corrupted".... No Demons can't resist Nyx's mind-control, because the Corrupted can't either. No Nyx can't become a Demon, She’s has nothing to corrupt. Nyx might be able to decimate a large group of Demon with a single use of Chaos. Rhino going down fast? What are Shields, and what is Iron Skin? It would take me forever go over the insanity that's Warframe Weaponry Lore, but Warframes durability is high because the weapons lore-wise are crazy. Nekros would hold better soul control... again Void Magic bullshit... (OK, so, before we get to the conclusion.) Most of the Warframes abilities are back by Void energy. Most Warframes are Gen 2s, meaning no living being required. You didn't mention how Corrosion, Viral, or Radiation, would effect the Demons. The Demons have no Void resist. Parvos Granum has his own version of a Void pocket, he's basically a god there. The Grineer are known to add to their DNA to gain strength, ---> Kuva and The Tube men experiment.

There are a few things I would like to add. One thing people forget about Parvos is that he created spectres. He has an army at his command and spectres have the ability to not copy any being and their weapons and tech but also scale to their level, even surpassing them. I feel like you're underselling the basic lower bounds of the warframe universe. Yes, the grineer are indeed genetically fucked storm troops with relatively super basic technology and nothing really going for them - but this is a universe whose technology has advanced thousands of years past current human ideas of things. There are dozens of different and more powerful grineer units, but even the most basic one is essentially a heavily-armored tank that weighs over a ton and could probably simply shrug off getting hit by the most powerful modern weaponry without even barely noticing it. Their "basic tech" involves guns that can shred through the power shields and high tech mechs of the corpus. On the same note, those corpus mechs - yes, they're just made of "metal" - but what metal? These are super advanced future tech robots - they're not just gonna be made out of iron and steel, and even if they are, they also have energy shielding. So when the warframes are tearing through those super mechs and walking tanks like they are butter, you have to understand that even the weakest warframe would be practically unstoppable compared to a modern military. Also, in gameplay, there is almost no difference in physical strength between every warframe, since very few warframes have any abilities that even affect your damage or speed with melee weapons - and those that do are using a form of energy to supplement that actively. They vary somewhat in terms of durability or speed, but those come down to the mods you equip on the warframes more than anything. That's the reasoning behind using the ability of any particular warframe as a "baseline" to compare other warframes to. In summary, every one of the factions is going to do way better as a baseline against the regular demonic forces. At least all of them are guaranteed to have weapons that prove effective against the demons, and if you count many of the really powerful bosses and heavy units the factions actually have, they are gonna be stomping the regular demon troops and even some of the heavies. Even the infected. Yes, they are weak to fire, but the fact that the demons can't be infected and have very effective weapons is not as big of a disparity as it seems. After all, the infection has many many forms - the juggernauts, the ancient infected, mutalisk and maggots and brood mothers - and their main form of victory is swarming. That "single imp" you sent against a ship of infected is going to get dog-piled and overrun. Even if every shot it fires instakills 10 infected units, it just doesn't have the action economy to prevent the barrage of attacks it will receive in return. Plus, the infection is always changing and adapting as well - just think of the Jordas Golem, which is literally an entire ship, which attacks with fire-based attacks, and is totally immune to damage unless you hit it in a very specific location and does not share the general infected weakness to fire.

I do think people at times forget just how scary powerful the warframes are. And how powerful the cannon fodder is as well. I also feel like the habit of Grineer to shoot first means the moment a hell portal opened the response would be lead. Even the average lancer would not wait for permission from a nearby Eximus they would just open up. And now due to what has happened in current lore. the demons would have no chance against a Jade Light Eximus. I also feel like Corpus Nullifiers would really hamper some of the more screwy stuff of the demons. And then there is what Spacemom did to the sentient fleet when going to take out Ballas in TNW. The Lotus in an admittedly rather angry state wiped out multiple sentient capital ships on her way to solar orbit from the surface of Earth. finally Doomguy wins almost everything with liberal application of gun, Tenno have lots of gun. The warframe setting has lots of gun.

On the topic of inconsistencies between lore and gameplay. The Doom demons' powers and performance don't make sense. If the demons have near infinite numbers, can regenerate and return to the battle field, and can literally teleport anywhere at will, how does the Slayer even win? The fight would go like this; the Slayer walks into an area, billions of demons teleport in, no matter how effortlessly he dispatches them, they keep coming. He is essential trapped in an endless battle and can not leave the area. He's contained by an endless waves of demons. While he is pinned down the other demons just go and accomplish their mission of taking over. He losses. The fact that this doesn't happen in lore means the demons either have limitations on their teleportation ability, their numbers are not as vast, and/or they are too incompetent to think of this. The Icon of Sin. If the Icon is nearly indestructible and a reality wrapper, why not just drop that thing in a universe and call it a day? Why even need a ground assault? This suggests the Icon is either very susceptible to being destroyed by convention means, thus needing a ground army to protect it and remove enemy threats, or it at minimum can be disrupted by convention means to the point it cannot accomplish its mission alone. If the demons have such an op hack like being able to teleport anywhere at will, why did it take them weeks to conquer earth? With their massive numbers they could have covered every inch of the planet in demons instantly. Every human would have a demon just appear right next to them, the whole population, all at once. So why did it take them weeks to overcome the earth? This implies again there may be limitations to their teleportation and/or numbers. It could also be that they are considerably incompetent or weak to the point that even with an op hack they couldn't quickly take a planet that was supposedly weaker than them and that didn't even have a fraction of their numbers or powers. Not acting like I understand the Doom lore in detail, just some thoughts.

For the Slayer winning part basically it's just with each demon he kills he gets stronger and faster plus he was intelligent enough to target specific areas the demons needed to control in order to keep invading He won by crippling them far to fast for them to recover then went into hell and killed davoth which wiped the remaining demons on earth out For the icon the reason they didn't just drop him on earth and call it a day is simply because the Khan maker didn't want to because of the corruption that would affect her and her race alongside if the Icon destroys the universe theyred be no argent energy to gain. The final point on why the demons didn't it's simply just plot reason tbh Doom isn't a well written story hell basically is made op to hype up doomguy

Even if it takes him 1 second to kill a demon, 1 second times infinity means he simply wouldn't be able to make any progress. You say he hit areas they needed. The video makes it sound like once they enter a universe they have unlimited access to it. They can literally just teleport anywhere, at any time, and any number. So what areas did they need in order to sustain the invasion? Are there limitations to their access, then? I totally agree with the last part. It definitely isn't a well written story.

One thing that wasn't addressed was the fact that even if a warframe falls, whoop-de-fuckin-do, the actual Tenno operator will just jump to a new warframe over and over and over. And each warframe has multiple lives essentially, with the ability to surge their warframes' systems and essentially reset them. Chew through all a warframe's lives, take it down, and you still have to deal with the operator, which in a lot of cases is even stronger than a warframe. Even if the heart of Deimos is corrupted, the operator can still control a necramech, which while not as powerful as a warframe, is still formidable. If the demons manage to take out the operator, even then there's more, with the being known as the drifter, which is the operator from an alternate timeline, who can just tag in and continue the fight. Is this enough to entirely eradicate the demons? Probably not, but it sure would prolong the fight perhaps into the years, and it would be really fucking annoying for the forces of hell.

Sorry, but there was too much inconsistency between using gameplay vs lore here. New war has significantly power crept the entire warframe universe, and lore wise, there are about two dozen warframes that have absurd hacks such as pocket dimensions they have full control of. Holding back a multi universal being, which is the void or man in the wall for thousands of years, ect ect ect. Not to mention the amount of immortality and invulnerability warframes and other advanced units for all the factions have that the demons would not have access to the tools to kill them. The Void itself is by far the most potent stop gap for any sort of universal cross invasion like this. The distruption caused would likely tear a hole that lets the man in the wall into the prime warframe timeline. That alone complicated everything to an insane degree as it would immediately come down to Icon Of Sin vs Man In The Wall and who you think would win in the end, essentially destroying both multiverses regardless of the victor.

I disagree. Holding back a multiversal entity isn’t killing it and DOOM Demons have multiple Multiversal beings among its ranks. None of the hax added are things Demons haven’t dealt with before or can straight up do themselves. Invulnerability to what? A corruption of the body, mind and soul on a universal level? Being erased from existence? Having invulnerability negation? Demons have ALL of this and more. In my research I saw no defense or power the demons couldn’t deal with so you gotta do better than just vague illusions to possible things the demons might not be capable of dealing with. The fact you are comparing MitW to Icon itself tells that the Demons would win. Icon isn’t the strongest Demon. He’s not even the strongest Titan, Champion is. Davoth, the Archdemons and other Titans stand above him in terms of power so if MitW stalemates Icon he’s getting thrashed by the Demons as a whole.

Ok, I've watched a few of these now. But I noticed you overlooked something about the Hell Invasions. In the Doom lore. Both the original universe doom guy came from and the universe from doom 3 are still standing after being invaded dispite how powerful demons were simply because they closed the portal. Once it was closed, it didn't matter if the demons had been to the universe already, they couldn't go back and continue the invasion until the portal was opened again. That would suggest that the demons can go wherever they want in a universe they are invading and travel between hell and that universe at will so long as the portal being used for the invasion stays open. Eternal is the only game that didn't do it that way but that's because the slayer had other plans. This would drastically change the goal of the fight from fighting off hell, or even destroying it, to just finding and closing the portal, or portals, being used for the invasion. Unless I'm missing something which I very well could be. But I feel like that change in tactical priority would seriously change the outcome. Especially since the portal is always created by a faction in the universe that is being invading. Usually the UAC. But in warfame I could definitely see it being the Corpus that open the portal in an attempt to get access to the argent energy. This, in my mind, would give them a much better chance as it seems you do these match ups on the assumption that Hell in invading of its own volition which has never been seen to happen that I know of. They have to be given a way in. But again, I could very well be missing something. My only other issue was that you only lore to back up the hell invasion unless a doom game or mechanic disproved the viability of a tactic or weapon in warfame. Like with the freezing mechanic or the most powerful titans. We have never seen a hell invasion get to the point that a higher tier titan would even consider entering the universe before the portal is closed apart from the icon. I hope none of this came off rude, just voicing my thoughts.

In other words, they can hunt down davoth until he is dead, because they cant die, or at least not permanently or in amy way that would be of a genuine hindrance to them. Hell, a single tenno held off a multidimensional god, i am more than confident that the tenno who have literally infinite lives and power to draw upon, will inevitably kill davoth. How long this would take? Couldnt tell ya. Not because its impossible to know, but because most likely, the tenno would just dedicate a single dude to sealing their universe off from hell's permanently as, again, infinite power. And as far as Grineers with mutations goes, you got Eximus units that can just passively drain the health or energy of enmies they are around, to assasins that can teleport across the battlefield, or even just big strong tanks that will wall bang you with their super anoying force pushing aura that insta kills low leveled warframes. And on top of all them there are the Kuva Liches, whom basically are thr Grineer versions of warframes. Like seriously, the Kuva Liches are lorewise the personalized nemesis of the player Warframe, have always a set of 4 void powers based off the same pool that the warframes, and can likewise range from crazy powerful or mechanically weak.... But more than that, it's canon that they get stronger and stronger for each battle that they recover from, when that's tough because they are unkillable by mundane means. To put a Kuva Lich down for good in warframe, you gotta stab them not just with a Parazon blade, (which is a special tool which can both work as a knife that can insta kill enemies in a weakened state, ignoring their durability and also to hack machines), but your Parazon also needs the right combination of Requiem Mods, which are basically codes written under a magical language called Voidtongue, which in this context will wipe out the Kuva Liches' soul. The Tenno are also canonically unable to die by mundane means as they always can revive unless their "Oro" (a special orb thing Tenno leave behind when killed in battle) is destroyed. The Conclave, which is basically the resident PvP mode of Warframe, is Lorewise meant to train the tenno to fight against enemies the share the same kind of semi immortality as themselves.

Firstly, I believe the Corpus and Parvos himself were greatly underestimated. I believe the Board of Directors wouldn't be a problem, they united and stood with the Tenno and the Grineer against the Sentients in the New War, they'd easily put aside their differences here especially since the demons can't be surrendered to like Alad V tried doing. Parvos has a major trick up his sleeve with the Specter technology, allowing him to mass produce an expendable army of duplicates of any unit, Warframes included. While Warframe Specters have weaker damage and a lot squishier defences the powers they can mimic are still formidable. Assuming the worst and saying every specter gets one shot, even getting to cast one powerful ability per unit could cull the demons relatively easily. Secondly, both the Corpus and the Grineer have access to immortal units, Sisters of Parvos and Kuva Liches respectively. Not even the Tenno can kill them without specifical weapons, basically using magical commands to cast them out, with each of them having a unique combination and sequence to them. The demons would have to find the Requiem words and test them out in confrontations to fell just one. Thirdly, if we assume that the factions are united, both because you said that the Grineer could be used to buy time for the others and because canonically in the New War we have precedent for this, a significant portion of the Sentients can be made invulnerable to all the damage due to the usage of Tower Kuva. We already have Sentients in-game, the Eidolons on the Plains of Eidolon, whose shields can only be damaged with Void damage which the demons can't access. A truce would allow the Tenno to give the Sentients the Tower Kuva making them invulnerable. Also the Archons are hybrids between Warframes and Sentients, they could bolster the ranks by reviving fallen Warframes and we don't have the upper power limits of how many times Archon Shards could do that

See, if you take the gameplay portion of things, like with the sentients, then you also take the gameplay portion of the Tenno farming the demons in sheer 'cool new weapons and mods!' fashion because the moment there's a potential upgrade Tenno swarm on that. Also the Tenno aren't getting corrupted, especially since we've seen someone cage a portion of what is essentially an eldritch horror obsessed only with having fun for untold millennia that absolutely does corrupt everything with the full force of the Void that the Tenno wield... and the frame he was possessing gave out before him and he was still holding it back. Even in the occasions where we do see a frame taken away, like with that frame, some of the Tenno can just come and take it back. Speaking of the gameplay portion of how mental warframe players get, god forbid someone decides they want to make a new frame from the Demon incursion pulled from the infinite potential timelines that a Tenno doesn't win in. Who wants to see some mad lad try and use Argent Energy with the Void? Seriously, the Demons and all their timelessness would probably crush a single warframe, find that they're gone, turn around and suddenly that same warframe is just barreling down on them screaming "Uh-uh, I want my drops fool!" The Demons would probably become quite confused that the warframes they beat never actually seem to lose or be the only faction other than The Man in the Wall to realize that the Tenno abuse timeline shenanigans and that they don't have an actual answer to it since time doesn't mean anything to them. I am fully convinced that the entire reason business grandaddy Parvos doesn't know how to handle or approach the Tenno is because every one one of them is legitimately insane.

The entirety of the Warframe universe can be summed up as a bomb with a lit fuse and the Tenno are the only faction between everyone and catastrophe. It's a post-post-apocalyptic setting about to get a triple combo, with constant infighting that keeps nudging for the Dimocles blade on everyone's head that's the Void to fall. The reality is that the Warframe universe is already experiencing a demon invasion of a similar calibre of that one coming from the Doom franchise, but they're currently managing to keep ahead because a few people have been monitoring the Void ever since the first spark that turned it into the game's present times, the first conceptual embodiment. Ever since then, enough understanding of the Void and technologies that exploit it have been developed that simultaneously gave power to the entity that lay within and created the tools to keep the invasion at bay, but if the Tenno fail to defend these key points, the Origin system is bound to become the battlefield between two invading armies of power beyond anyone's understanding. Depending on argent's interaction to the Void, the armies of hell may become endless fuel for the Indifference's eternal curiosity and hunger for emotions, emotions that conceptually embody and become armies for the Indifference to use and further tear at the fabric of reality. Multiple times has been said that the Void has been inspired by WH40K's Warp and cosmic horror, so you can guess what sort of insanity can ensue if you take away the people that are constantly pulling at the brakes, the Tenno, if they get overwhelmed by a third party. The Tenno canonically can't die, mind you, but they'll be forced back and it could come to a point that the last strongholds of humanity will be the buoys the Orokin built inside of the Void itself, the Orokin towers, which were essentially built as pit stops for the wealthy and the noble with lethal security systems, that could be potentially converted for long term habitation. The unlucky, provided they have a sufficient mastery over their mind and body, could pull off something the scale of Duviri and form strongholds of themselves though the circumstances to its creation were unique to say the least.

The infested have more than canon fodder, but I can see why you’d only count the average enemies. There’s an entire moon (Deimos) that’s absolutely covered in infested, with colossal worms named Vome and Fass that far exceed the size of things like the icon of sin or titans. The only thing(s) that has ever created a fear response in the infested, was the coming of the Void demon and our Tenno who is basically an extension of said demon’s powers. A murmur is another way of saying a whisper. The sentients are weak to the void (The power warframes and their operators use), because it’s something that is nigh impossible to adapt to its boundless possibilities. As you said, randomness personified. Their adaptation can’t work, because everytime they try- it changes.

Bro. If I had to play a drinking game for every time he was wrong about the matter (which was damn near every single line) I'd be dead of alcohol poisoning a hundred times over. I'll try to keep it short: >Grineer lift and carry multi-ton industrial supply crates on the daily (their genetic templates, while unstable and decaying, are actually comparably 'jacked' as Doom Guy, and the cybernetic prosthetics that replace their short-lived joints are industrial robotics grade) >Grineer casually shrug off getting struck by lightning >Corpus engineer and integrate tech to nullify the 16D dimension that is the Void in a weekend, that honestly should say it all >The Infestation is a can of technorganic nanotech worms that puts even the Flood to shame, and clearly it's tricked this guy into thinking exactly what it wants about it >Tenno are incorporeal, immortal, and godlike Void ghosts that blew up city blocks by sneezing on accident, before they had a clue how to even use their powers >Warframes are casually citynuker (minimum) technorganic monstrosities even before Tenno transference juices them up to levels comparable to 40k Greater Daemons (IE decide a planet-scale conflict in a second) >'Sentients' referenced like the Conculysts are like the dead skin cells of a capital-S Sentient; there aren't any canonical boundaries to the limitations of their adaptation >Sentients insta-hack, hijack, and assimilate all non-organic technology at will. Cyberdemons' pacemakers beware of the incoming sweep, if chopstick bois be click-clacking around >Eidolons like the Hydrolyst passively control weather systems (powerscalers consistently place this at MANY nukes' worth of energy to do for even a moment) and manipulate said systems for pinpoint-accuracy lightning and EMP spam >Eidolons are the aimlessly wandering KNUCKLEBONES of a capital-S Sentient >An example of a capital-S Sentient is Praghasa, who unironically EATS stars. Not destroys, just casually EATS, like a snack >"No anti-Kaiju measures"? Necramechs literally are anti-Kaiju-grade Dreadnaught-analogs, they bring down skyscraper+ beasties in seconds >'Murmur' means a low, continuous, unclearly-heard sound like indistinct voices; not "wallwall" >Murmur aren't 'monsters,' there's no set number of them. They're an inexorable tide of conceptual manifestations of one's fraying sanity the instant they're exposed to the Void, automatically scaling infinitely to all who suffer the terminal condition of beholding it, always creeping into frame in undetermined numbers from their peripherals. There's no 'killing' them, it's literally just flailing at paradoxical schizo space. Fun fact: all who invariably eventually fall to the Murmur become Void Angels - a bottomless legion of reality-warping cosmic horrors that 'sing' the song of absolute unmaking madness into the very fabric of every grade of spacetime around (referential to seraphim, a kind of angels that sing to the empty throne in Heaven) >The Void is a 16-dimensional 'gateway to eternity' that's the pseudo-spatial convergence of all space(s), timelines (past present future), and infinitely-extrapolative possibilities therein. It's a quantum realm of conceptual manifestation, and its 'waters' - so to speak - have been irrevocably stained by 'The Man In The Wall' which is in short a manifestation of all life's innate, inescapable fear of the unknown. As such, the 'behavioral' pattern of the Indifference (the 'substance' of the Void) that of a cognitohazard: one that can't be understood, that wants to be known, and to behold it is doom. Everything that has ever been exposed to the raw Void has died on contact, and its soul eventually swallowed by the Murmur. Everything that's 'returned' is not what it was - more like The Indifference wearing whatever or whoever it was, like a skin mask, looking to further spread its lethal cognitohazard self. Conceptually similar to a blend of Chaos and Strange Matter. Doom has... Doom Guy. No physically stronger than a canonical Grineer. No tougher. Just has bottomless sustain specifically against the Doom demons. All of whom are scared shitless of that one guy. The Doom demons' dimension is 4D. The Corpus could reverse-engineer Doom Guy's alientech armor in an afternoon and mass produce it within a weekend. Grineer kitted out with that little modification would clean house before Wednesday. The other factions wouldn't even catch wind of the situation before it's over and the Corpus and Grineer are at another business-as-usual skirmish over who gets the lion's share of the freshly made carcasses - of the giblets you just dropped into their piranha tank of a setting. And the 'heat' argument of "10 decicillion gajillion gorillion degrees" on Doom's side makes negative sense. Doom Guy has a dinky little flamethrower mounted on his shoulder, that spits regular old flames. Which work just fine on the Demons. He also dies when standing in lava, which is a great deal cooler than "10 decicillion gajillion gorillion degrees," proving that even things 'powered' directly by Argent energy don't sport any sort of magical heat resistance. Furthermore to try and claim that Argent energy has that as a baseline for its temperature is completely inconsistent even within Doom - there wouldn't be a PLANET anymore, the instant an Imp would conjure a fireball of it, Doom Slayer cracks an orb of the stuff, or every single time he rips a Demon to pieces and their "10 decicillion gajillion gorillion degrees" blood sprays all over. There's a canonical, distinct, LACK of everything within a solar sector's vicinity atomizing from it. Therefore: absolute wank. It's more likely accurate that Argent Energy, in super enclosed conditions akin to a particle accelerator, *can* be forced to reach such figures, and still retain its state as itself - which is more a testament to its flexibility and malleability as an energy medium, not "oh yeah all of it is just absurdly hot all of the time forever." There's also the convenient bit he left out about engagement front. While Hell's reserves are bottomless, the invasion is never all-reality-wide; there's a bottleneck that they can pour through. Which means there are limitations to how many of them can be at a front line at a time, which means attrition/sustain rates come into question. Against normie victims, the Demons' strategy of attrition works. However even if Hell is bottomless with demons, that doesn't get to matter if the side they clash against sports equally bottomless sustain for the engagement. And, again, they're all scared out of their wits over one single guy that sports just that. Spoiler: the Warframe universe is in a perpetual state of gridlock because they all have been, and can keep, fighting forever. Just like him.

A massive part of warframe’s gameplay loop is research and using the weapons and powers of their enemies against them so they could probably find and weaponize argent energy pretty quickly… Additionally I think you are severely underestimating the power of the infestation. It’s a virus that can corrupt flesh, metal and software the infestation becomes an essential part of your very soul and being. The infestation much like the flood or tyranids can quickly adapt and overcome their weaknesses this is why warframes have such varied powers and defenses. Depending on the strain the hive mind controlling it is so bullshit intelligent that it far surpasses even the greatest human tacticians and can borderline predict the future.

The thing that makes many of the elemental warframes so powerful isn't the elements themselves, but their ability to multiply damage dealt and their abilities to strip defenses. Frost may only stop a group for a couple seconds, but thats not the point. Yarelli isn't trying to drown you with water, but with a damage multiplier that'll drop the threshold needed to kill a demon from a BFG9k to a flick behind the ear.

a few minor corrections, from a Warframe player: 1) Protea has much more than time manipulation. Her offensive arsenal is actually fairly similar to the Doom Slayer's. 2) The corpus cannot weaponize Transference, as it is a power that has to be given to you by an entity that is far from benevolent. 3) Sentinel tech is only better than roughly 2/3 of Warframe tech, with the other third being possessed by the Tenno and Sentients. 4) Infested are more weak to Toxin effects than heat. 5) The sentients are not the only thing to threaten the Orokin's power. The Warframes themselves, the Drifter, and the Murmur are all threats to Orokin. 6) The sentients *are* capable of 100% adapting to every damage type except for Void and True damages. The tenno are able to beat them only because they have weapons that can hit them physically. 7) Sentients do not, in fact, have souls. 8) With their adaptation, Argent energy wouldn't do shit. 9) The void is an inbetween of Non-existence and Existence. The creators explained it partially this way in Limbo Theorem, an early game quest that no one pays attention to, because it's earlier than the lore starts picking up. 10) Transference isn't granted by the void, it's granted by the god-entity that lurks inside of it. 11) The murmur is soulless, infinite in number, and could definitely combat most demons. 12) The player character is more or less the victim turned hero. 13) There are ways for the Warframes to simply tank hits, both in lore and gameplay.

Gonna add my points of lore for Warframe so that the argument is a little more concise; You are right on the Grineer and Corpus, as both are basically human-line and would fail just as hard. The robotics would come in clutch for both factions, but that's about it. The Infested can and have infected beings with high internal temperatures, albeit very slowly. The Infested is.... iffy. On one hand, they infected the entire corpus ship that Jordas was on, Plasma Drives and all, and there are infested units (Specifically the Carnis, which use a form of Bioplasma as a basic attack) which are able to handle heat moderately well. But it would be a race for the Demons to kill all the infested before they infected them. The Sentients are relatively easy to explain; Sentients can adapt to any damage type as long as it is not overwhelming and not related to the void. The Tenno were able to defeat these creatures with these powers because their power is based in the void, as is their arsenal. The mods that you put in weapons utilize the innate void energy in a warframe (and tenno!) to improve the weapon. However, the Grineer and Corpus have been able to kill Sentient grunts in the past, though it usually takes a lot of effort (or overwhelming firepower as with Kahl). Pregasa, one of the largest sentients, could eat suns for breakfast and would have if not for *spoilers* happening. The void is indeed Chaos. Raw, unbridled chaos. Possibility for anything and everything and nothing to happen. Kinda like the Chaos Gods of Warhammer's Warp without all of the cut into multiple emotions bit. Just raw Soulacid. That being said, the Murmur are basically like the daemons of 40k; they can't really die, they just get sent back to whence they came. Worse yet, it is implied that they are a form of corruption of the soul as well, as their appendages are very similiar to the appendages of the Void Angels, corrupted humans who have been granted great power (and madness) by the void in an attempt to free their master, The Man in the Wall. The Man in the Wall is basically time-locked and that is his only weakness. He literally stops the explosion of the sun. The warframes are mass-produced, mostly as copies of the original, memory and all. Yes, memory, singular. Each warframe, as quote by Ballas, has but a single, burning memory inside of their head. On top of that, there are three alternatives to demonic corruption; Narmer Veils, Kuva Continuity, and Void Corruption. Void Corruption doesn't play well with other forms of corruption and will actively burn it it out (See The War Within for Void Corruption helping against Kuva Continuity, and The New War for Narmer Veils being absolutely smoked by regular force of will). I'd very much say that Void Corruption would actively seek to burn out the Corruption that is present from DOOM. Each warframe also has at least building level strength, as each of them can carry a Void Key in their off hand while wielding a weapon. The Void Keys are pure gold device that power the Torsion Beam Devices in Orokin Sabotage and are mentioned to be pretty hefty. That being said, they can't wield an Archgun without having a gravmag stabilizer, so they aren't very strong, I'll give you that. Limbo would be invaluable for defense and support, what are you on? He can literally stop time inside his little dimension of his and it can't be interacted with by anything (Murmer and other tenno included!) thus making him invincible as long as he is in it and alone. Though you are correct about demons being able to enter once banished. That being said, Limbo himself was torn apart by his own dimension, so it would be a really bad idea for the demons to try and utilize it because they could befall the same fate. You need to have considerable intellect to even make a single jump. The Ice Bomb in Doom Eternal specifically mentions using freezing gasses to freeze their enemies. Frost doesn't do that; he just makes your temperature 0. As in 0 kelvin, in which all chemical reactions stop occurring. Same with Gauss, who is able, in lore, to drop the temperature around him (as seen with his Thermal Sunder ability) to nearly absolute zero. The cold-themed warframes would absolutely be able to freeze demons in their tracks and kill them, at least the lower grunt ones. Nidus would be useful, but not for the reason you would expect; he cannot freaking die. Unlike other warframes like Inaros, Jade, or Limbo, who were literally torn apart because their powers were going out of control, Nidus was a prototype that never saw the light of day. As such, he adapts a lot quicker than the infestation; hell, he is related to the Helminth Strain, the strain that turned people into warframes. Nidus would be useless for defeating the demons, but dear god he would put up one hell of a perimeter because as long as he is surrounded by demons he isn't dying anytime soon. He's not even weak to the infestation's usual weakness of fire. Rhino should be top of the line, honestly. Rhino, in his base form, is able to tank nuclear radiation and the surface of the Sun, easily, with his Iron Skin ability. On top of Roar being a buff, his ability to stop time with his stomps, and the ability to just become nigh invincible for some time, he should be one of the top contenders. Rhino literally tore another warframe in half with his bare hands. You are also underselling Styanax. His ability not only includes combat, but reinforcing the will of others. Out of all the frames, he might actually be a game changer as he ends up reversing the corruption of a corpus mad scientist with multiple brainwashed bodies attached to him. Styanax may be able to temporarily reverse the corruption, albeit it will be temporary and the demons would adapt quickly. Nekros has been shown controlling literal armies of souls and has even controlled the soul of Murmur enemies (you know, the conceptual embodiment of chaos) so I think he'd be able to control some demon's souls no problem. I would compare a single Nekros to a Baron of Hell in willpower. Also, two important warframes to mention that didn't get mentioned; Grendel and Vauban. The latter is important because DEAR GOD the amount of gadgets that void technician has on him is ridiculous. He could call in a vacuum that sucks the demons towards it, tether them with magic fishing line that disables their nervous system (yes really), use vortex pads to make their advance impossible, etc. And Grendel can eat anything he wants. He has eaten sentients, murmur, and even freaking childhood traumas made manifest. Unleash an army of Grendels against hell, and they'll see a feast, one the demons won't be aware of because Grendel can vore-snipe you from at least 100 meters away! This isn't even touching on other lore tidbits, like Rell with The Chains of Harrow or the events of Duviri, where the weapons are literally made of pure void-stuff. Or Oro, which are the canonical souls of the Warframe (not the tenno, which are stuck in a Schrodinger's cat situation) and can't be destroyed but can be collected. Warframe doesn't solo the DOOM universe, but it gets pretty lopsided when you include the Tenno. Without the Tenno, the Warframe universe would be pretty screwed.

Lets not forget about the Man in the Wall, the entity within the void. Since they are part of the void that contained endless amounts of timeline and capability to change by an unknown level, the Man in the Wall may have a higher and more efficient influence than the Icon of Sin. There is a lot of unknowns about the entity's powers, but with evidence so far when the important characters experience the void, including operator, if the Man in the Wall were tobe set freed into the physical plane of the Warframe universe then the entity may able to manipulate reality that the demons is not immune to. Void damage is a type that no one have resistance against. Don't forget about Atlas's frame lore where he punched a gigantic asteroid with one punch, so he could be one of those frames that can defeat titans. Now lets talk about the operator, who may be the only chance that the Warframe Universe have to stop the Doom invasion. The operator have access to the most strongest versions of the frames + mods and augment that could make one weapon or frame strong enough to one shot the highest level enemies in the game. Dante, Jade, and Kullervo I believe could tank and destroy almost all of the demons until they meet the entity of the Doom Universe. Also, despite the vault that holds the energy for the warframes destroyed, the operator themselves could still control some using their own abilities. I wonder how void and argon energy will clash or combine together?
@zerasparkcrew1044
@zerasparkcrew1044 4 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, also imagine the Operator coming to the entity of the Doom Universe accepting a deal in the similar fashion as the one scene in the Zaramin when the Operator accept the deal from the Man in the Wall. A deal to keep the invasion at bay by gaining part of the power the entity had, in price of other timelines that may still be existing. Let me tell you, the Man in the Wall could able to manipulate timelines when a deal is accepted. The entity in the Doom Universe can change anything by words alone, but there might be hints of limitations where the entity could only affects a single layer of the universes, not timelines unless they get their hands on something else that would break this limitation. And imagine operator weilding both void and argon energy to stop the demon invasion. What if the Man in the Wall and the entity of Doom Universe decide to team up, if they shared similar goals. Then this become the biggest threat for the Warframe universe to face, demons powered by void energy ontop of argon. Eventually, it is all come up to the Operator vs the demons of Doom and the two entities that joined to cause chaos to the universe, by himself. Does the operator have what it takes to save the universe and stops the demons from taking over?

Well you did say a lot of different things that may or may not be relevant I think you need to rewatch the video again because there are a couple of things you may have forgotten I mean doesn't Atlas have the power to manipulate Earth so him destroying an asteroid isn't that special considering he can manipulate the earth so it could simply make it explode so it's not a full physical show of strength and I don't think the man in the wall is that powerful compared to the icon of sin or the dark Lord because like you said him literally saying something is enough to make it a reality what's stopping the dark Lord from saying the void doesn't exist or the man in the wall is dead nothing You're basically facing off against a multiversal plus being well multiple multiversal plus beings versus a guy who clearly isn't even universal not to mention the makers The Father and the dark Lord can manipulate timelines as well And I will say this The demons are above time and space so manipulating time isn't going to stop them and you're speaking about the corruption Yes they do have resistance but it is nowhere near high enough to stop the doom corruption so safe to say it's more likely the Warframe universe is completely screwed in a couple of days at the most because the moment The demons end up finding out about the vault and the demons will find out it's game over even faster from months to days to a couple of hours And remember there are sentient beings inside the Doom universe who have more advanced technology than some of the Warframe universe and yet they still fell to the demons not to mention the fact that the demons from Doom have conquered countless realities in the past universes timelines all that nonsense so them conquering is a guarantee because they surely have faced far more intelligent and advanced and more powerful life forms in the past and like I said they all fell to the doom demons.

from what i can tell you massively overestimate, both the heat and heat resistance of demons. one of doomguys most effective weapons is the plasma rifle, and it does not reach anywhere near the level of heat you are indicating would be necessary, and if argent energy truly was as hot as you claim and inside of every demon, a single demon death would result in an explosion several times larger than any nuke, and that's just from the rapid heat attenuation. secondly, the grineer would be a much more powerful force than you give them credit for. sure you can corrupt a group of grineer, then the next batch of clones is born. now you have to work on corrupting those, and even the ones you corrupt are on a short time limit due to cloning sickness. also the grineer are actually pretty physically powerful. they could hold the line for quite a while. finally, i would say that the void is basically similar to the warp from warhammer, which is to say it is a threat on all levels including physical spiritual and mental. the void also has it's own corrupting influence so... yeah... there's more to say, but i'll leave it there.

I talked about this. Doomguy empowers his gun with his will that allows him to defeat gods and titans with weapons that aren’t normally capable of killing them. This is stated by Hugo Martin so no none of Doomguy’s weapons are normal.

@@rougarabid hmm. must have missed that. doesn't explain how a dead pinky demon doesn't nuke the area but if a will to kill is all it takes, the grineer are even more effective. or is this another special technology thing. whatever the case, "infusing will" into anything sounds like magic to me, and that would delve into a more complex and metaphysical conversation on the effects of void magic, hell magic, and mayker magic, none of which are particularly well defined and as such would be a profound waste of time... well at least as far as i can tell.

fun fact: limbo's main power is not that he can escape to another universe, but that he can literally TRAP anything inside it. demons aint gonna do much if they are locked in stasis, completely motionless without being able to do anything

While mur can mean wall, murmur is defined as: a low, continuous sound. An indistinct, whispered, or confidential complaint; a mutter.

In Latin it means Wallwall but yeah it was mostly said as a joke. Either way, pretty dumb sounding name.

@@rougarabid The "wall" also refers to the Man in the Wall, and the Wall of Lohk. All of which are connected to the void, with the Man in the Wall likely being physically embodiment of the void itself. The Murmur are just fragments of him.

Just a small note in terms of that "portal to the sun" power, it's actually pretty weak as far as Warframe abilities goes on single targets. It can clear grunts just fine for 2 reasons: The grunts are so much weaker than your warframe that even your shoulder bumps can kill them. And 2. The beam gets stronger the more targets it hits, and you are combining it with other abilities by several times. Otherwise as far as gameplay goes a Void powered sword from Excalibur is generally treated as more powerful in 1v1s than the sun portal attack, and that's the case even for lvl 1 void strikes compared to the sun blast which is an ability the Wisp Warframe doesn't unlock until lvl 10. So sentients can potentially adapt to things whole lot of times hotter than the sun, especially since it generally requires many buffs, debuffs and multi hits to kill any of them in the Steel Path (which is like the hard mode of the game, with WAY higher damage numbers than the normal path, al la JRPGs).

Adding to this as I watch along, for the purpose of me not forgetting points at the end. The corpus do have access to kaiju sized mechs, with some of their raknoid line. The jackel line also has the razorback. Not saying these would give much better chance, just a minor correction. Just read through some of the comments and saw your response to the exploiter orb being brought up, so nevermind on the kaiju part, but it does show they have the capacity to create such mechs. How long it would take would be up for debate, but probably wouldn't be able to in a short enough timeframe. The way I imagine the void is to think of every universe and timeline that exists as being bubbles while the void is the entire ocean in which those bubbles reside. It has also been used for speedier travel from one side of the universe to another, similar to how Warhammer 40k regularly uses the warp for travel, this is how the sentients the tenno deal with ended up sterile due to void sickness. You said you weren't going to cover variants of warframes. Umbra Excalibur functions differently enough from Excalibur that I'm pretty sure he'd be worth covering. Warframes are pretty much puppeted by the tenno, but Umbra Excalibur can actually act on his own. Ok, just got to the part where you lumped all the combat frames together, so nevermind on this point. You were pretty much right on the part of Warframes being people pretty much being trapped in their own bodies and being controlled by the tenno. The tenno can control them from pretty much anywhere, even from another dimension, as was confirmed in the Second Dream quest where Lua, the place where the tenno had been housed, was pulled out of the void and showcasing they had this link and control of the warframes from within the void prior. Limbo's power could actually be useful as long as he only uses it defensively as a get out of jail card and doesn't banish a demon into it. That would be best case scenario for him, but that would require him to already know how the demons function and this scenario is based on them having to react to immediate invasion, so yeah he'd definitely make that mistake. He is theoretically more useful than the elemental frames, but requires knowledge he wouldn't have at the time. This goin off of what I understood from how you explained the demons teleporting works. Pretty sure Volt would be the most useful of the elemental frames. His speed boost affects physical speed of himself and allies, this means both movement and melee attacks. He'd at least be able to increase the effectiveness of the combat centric frames. Sevagoth taking souls to empower himself, I'm pretty sure that would speed up his corruption in this scenario. Putting aside Wisp's ability to pull things from other places, she an ability to support allies by giving them increased speed, armor, and regeneration. Not sure how useful the armor and regeneration would be here, but speed is always a welcome addition. Pretty sure the best possible scenario would be if you combined cooperation between Dante, Protea, Parvos, Alad V, and Limbo. This is assuming a limbo hasn't already attempted to banish a demon and Alad V's hubris didn't lead to him being a dumbass like when he got infected by the infestation. Protecting the heart of Deimos by tossing it into the void would probably be a hail mary attempt, cause we wouldn't know how the effects of the void would react to an infested planet. If what you said about mods is true and they are canon to the warframe lore, then there's a meme video that showcases something absolutely hilarious. It shows Gauss running so fast the screen flips, which was a bug that got patched out. The video is called "Warframe: Saint plus ultra" by Zanagoth, it's a less than 7 minute youtube video and worth watching for both the entertainment and theory crafting for this situation.

Now that I think about it, I think the void may actually a roided up version of the warp. Both just exist, but the warp is affected by the extreme collective emotions a beliefs of others whereas the void is just doing whatever the hell it wants. This also includes the fact the void created its' own collective consciousness without outside influence. The warp is only chaotic because the warring that happened outside of it, while the void is pure chaos and always has been.

The best explaination to void energy i could come up with is: Its the most eficient source of energy in the WF universe and it rots alway sentients akin to how radiation rots humans (strip alway our defenses, breaks our coding and holds us from self healing)
