Watching this almost makes me feel a bit emotional, I can’t believe how much time has passed. I was one of the only kids with an Xbox and other kids would come round to play Gears. It’s such a special game in terms of gameplay but you also forget that it’s such a dark game.

As soon as the sniper first becomes available after you kick the door open in lethal dusk, I always grab it and run with that and shotgun for the rest of the campaign unless I need to pick up a different weapon. That’s one thing that I love so much about GoW1 campaign, you get to keep the weapons you pick up for the entirety of the campaign. All the others force you to swap loadouts every act/chapter.

Damn bro, I can’t believe how hard of a time you had against the corpser. After you shoot it’s abdomen, you need to shoot it’s mouth to get it to back up. And then when it’s on the platform you need to shoot the clamps.
