Prescott knew that to win wars you have to make hard decisions even if they hurt your own people while hurting the locust and that's why I think he's the best because he can make the hard decisions that others may struggle with

I have this personal theory that Prescott has never used/too cautious to use the MK2 lancer. In the third novel Hoffman tried to give him one but after inspecting it Prescott says his snub pistol is enough to defend himself. And apart from multiplayer, he is never seen holding the lancer.

Its said that the lancer would sometimes kill or injure the user as well from bone fragments flying everywhere when using the chainsaw

Yea you're right there, but the simple reason Prescott doesn't wanna use a Lancer is because even though he knows how Lancers work, he was never battle-tested in the cog army as mentioned in the video so he doesn't want that being put under a spotlight after he shows how wildly rookie he actually is as a soldier. He likes Snub pistols because it's really the only weapon he knows how to use expertly and doesn't have to worry about being exposed as a less than average gear. It's his reputation in politics that he's trying to protect

Prescott was a bastard...but it's hard to say if his choices were made for better or worse. I respect his charisma, but I disagree with some of his actions. The fact you love him and hate him at the same time makes him feel like a true Gear Dad 😂 love to the original series 🤟

I don’t understand why people hate Prescott. After reading the books, I realised he truly did what was necessary. He showed humanity on numerous occasions, like with his secretary.
