If they do a soft reboot for Gears 6 it wouldnt be hard to take it back to the roots while still wrapping that story up cause all they would need to do is bring Marcus back as the main character and have the Squad as Marcus JD Kate and Faz or throw Coletrain back in there and have Del the canon death (not a Del fan lol)

I use play as her in survival mode and multiplayer i always wondered what happened to her since never made any apperance after judgement only paduk made his appearance in aftermath and paduk saw them through his scope and killed one of them is there some evil cog unit because in multiplayer we fought same characters cog vs cog blue vs red maybe there is red evil cog faction that kidnapped Sofia. Locust also had their lambent counterparts and there was human enemies UIR so maybe they will have evil red cog faction

It may not be a fan favorite like the trilogy of GoW we know and love, but I do love the soundtrack that Judgement had given.

If they do a pendulum wars game it would have to focus on the leadup to the end, and then Emergence day. Personally I'd choose the focus group to be one of the UIR nations that surrendered with the week/couple week timeskip to E-Day and have the Locust doing a military push through their territory to hit CoG territory. And so your player characters are reactivared and given some access to additional CoG wargear that isn't available to you in the earlier part of the campaign. Id also focus on flushing out the UIR arsenal, specifically the secondary and specialist weapons, maybe a marksman rifle that could be seen as the predecessor of, or at least something that would be replaced by, the hammerburst.

I am honestly conflicted about this, on one hand I agree that Raam should remain dead for the legacy he left behind as a fearsome (and badass) general of the Locust but on the other hand I'd love to see old man Marcus fight against Hollow Raam if the latter makes a comeback from the grave.

Let’s “PRESUME” she escaped. The odds of survival are low. You already have to know her onyx guard armor is gone. She may only have at most a handgun, and a knife. Little to no food or water. Plus distance from where they took her to halvo bay. If not another camp or group of survivors or stranded. Now add the savage, the lambent, awol troops, and stranded that would do lord knows what to her? Unless Onyx guard troops are the equivalent of the most elite special forces in our world. The odds are slime. Talking on the 50/50 scale 25/75 survived, to not making it. But they better not do what they did to Anya and kill her off without some take.

You know, I'm probably super late to realize this, but it just clicked when I saw the clip at about 28:23 that Marcus has been fighting for so long he basically instinctually picked his Lancer back up as if to continue fighting but then looked down to realize he no longer had to and the war was over. Once he realized that he didn't just drop it, he threw it away and started ripping his armor off. It gives me the feeling that he wasn't a warrior because he wanted to be but because he had to be to protect what he cared about.
