The gears 2 hammerburst is still burst fire. If you look down range you can see a cluster of bullets leaving the barrel each trigger pull, it's just instantaneous so it sounds like 1 shot is firing

I love how majority of the guns don't even bother having buttstocks on them. It's like the guns are so overly big, heavy, and bulky, and the guys firing them are all massive body builders, that the recoil just cancels itself out. 😂

The problem with judgement doesn't just lie on the simplified controls but the weapon set doesn't follow the lore: hammerburst mkii and the lancer mk2 should not exist at this time in gears.

@@jnp2573 yes and the lancer mk2 was used during judgement as it was developed during the first 2 years of the human locust war hammerburst mk2 was used during the events of gears judgement but used in small numbers. Lancer mk2 replaced retro lancers hammerburst mk2 replaced hammerburst mk1.

For me, they didn't need to remake the Hammebuster, but rather make 2 different ones, Mark 1 being the classic and Mark 2 being from 2 onwards, one to be an assault rifle and the other to be more of a rifle.

Whenever I reload my weapons in VR. 'specially when trying to do it fast, sometimes I screw up in some form, reminding me of this series' reload mechanic Such as that I release the mag, but when I was gonna insert a new mag, I miss the slot entirely, and drops it, instinctively thinking that it was in. Or, I do the process correctly... but in that haste, I end up releasing the mag again by accident. As if my brain didn't keep up.

Balancing purposes. The gun would have been way too OP for the player to use if it was a multi shot semi auto launcher If you notice how the boomers use it in gameplay they don't reload after each shot. So when the enemy uses it they just fire it semi automatic It's a weird compromise but I understand why they did it. Similar to how enemies can fire the miniguns nonstop without needing to cool the barrels down, while the player has a barrel cool down mechanic to balance things out

I hope "Gears Of War: E-Day," takes the best features from each installment's weapons and combines them for it's Campaign and Multiplayer. (Like giving the Lancer "1"s damage, and "2"s fire rate, or giving the Gnasher Shotgun, "1"s damage, "2"s spread, and "3"s accuracy and it's reloading mechanic.)

@@twilight_mourner1865 basically if you don't play the way others want you to play(only use the gnasher and the pickup weapons) you get trash talked and bullied and people leave bad reports on your profile lowering your rep and giving you a "avoid me" message whenever someone checks your profile to either add you as a friend, invite you to their game or just want to send you a friendly message some people take that to the next level and send death threats and other very nice words your way even if how you play actually works perfectly, had a death threat sent to me back when I played Gears 2 and went on a chainsaw massacre in a versus game, I was literally a kid back then and this presumably grown adult told me: "sleep well cause you're not waking up tomorrow :)" from what I know it still hasn't gotten any better even now that Gears 5 is out, also sorry for the late reply
