The guy killed his own family, due to Ares, then was betrayed by his own father and was forced to kill his sister along with brothers and uncles, then later had his next wife die. Stabbed several times, had to kill his mother, and got haunted with it several times. Had to get the blades used to kill his original family to save his dying son, the man went to so much. But yeah Marcus has gone through a lot.

Fun fact about Benjamin: He is the one who inspired the flashlights for the Lancers, due to him complaining he wasn’t able to see anything, and Marcus refusing. After Ben’s death, he decided to do it, because he thought it was a good idea.

That's how the Lancer as a gun and marcus' custom Lancer came to be. In a department store Tai Kaliso killed a grub effectively with a chainsaw so the Lancer was made, in Marcus' time fighting, a comic complained about a better stock I think so Marcus did so with his custom as he did with the flashlight

To be honest when it comes to a death scene I find it's the music that really hits me via the death of a memorable character, unless the death itself has very strong potential to a sacrifice. Dom's death did them both, he sacrificed himself to not only be with Maria but to save his friends/team/Brothers&Sisters he had no choice, none would have made it if he didn't make a bravery soldier decision there.....Marcus, Cole, Baird are still alive all thanks to him. Truthfully though, if I lost my wife to something like that and it kept eating me up from the inside for years I'd eventually do it too

Seeing a character you came to love have to put down someone they love, that they spent so long looking for, because they where tortured and lobotomized to be slaves. And his tearful goodbye and regret of having to do it to give her mercy from everything. Then Dom sacrificing his life to save his friends and comrades. Punctuated by the talk Dom has in the cemetery, then the quick words he has before the end and Marcus wanting nothing more than to charge in and pull his best friend out.

Ya wont lie Kait's mom wasnt that said to me I felt bad for Kait, being they only had one chapter together and they was pissed at each other didnt really help me get the feels. If anything was pissed we did all that just for us to put her mom out of her misery. I felt worse with Oscor since we actully fought along side him and liked him. Also Anya's death was kinda ruined by the trailers spoiling it ahead of time would have been more a impact if not for that.

I feel bad for Dom. He blames himself for his wife’s death. The joy he has when he 1st sees her only to be taken away when reality kicks in. In the end he puts her out of her misery.

It has always been Dom for me - till Gears 5 - JD or Del is slightly worse because you make the choice. I paused the game for about 15 mins before I made up my mind.

Bro first it was all of marcus’s brother Santiago ( dom ) now we got all these new comers losing all of there people gears of war is a great 3rd person shooting game but they make you latch on to certain charectars then have them dying in the end rip Santiago

Gears 5 wasnt out at this time but in my opinion I would put does at 2 and jacks death at 1 those two deaths made me the most sad and ben carmine at 3
