PRO TIP: When putting pop-rivets in soft material (like plastic or fiberglass), it's a good idea to put a washer on the backside. That gives the rivet something to grab onto. Otherwise, the rivet can work itself loose.

Is anyone else curious why the cutting and fitting of the fenders wasn't done prior to paint? I'm not the most knowledable about this, but I would think that would be the best method. Make mods before you paint.

Idealy yes but considering the parts arent made of steel and wont rust it wont be a issue, this would be an issue with steel parts as they rust if exposed to the elements without paint. Though I imagine the real reason behind why they didnt do it is simply due to time, maybe it was faster to do it that way. Ben is willing to pay alot of money to get the build up on going, and time is money.

I had to drill and zip tie my undertray on the side of the freeway one day. I was holding the 2 pieces together and because of the angle that I was having to drill at when the drill bit pushed through it went into my finger 😬 luckily it just barely made a mark into the meat of my fingerprint so a couple days later I was good to go 👍

This is the most genuine car enthusiast's lifestyle I've ever seen!!! This content just shows what true passion, dedication and connectivity between a man and the machine looks like!!! No hype, no clout chasing, no brag & rights, no obnoxious childish attitudes, only pure love and respect!!! It's not always about stats, numbers, competition and etc, just really enjoying the car's condition and the authentic vibe that it gives you when you take it for a drive!!! Just a group of people genuinely appreciating their vehicles together and having a strong bond!!! Man, thank you for posting videos like this!!!! You're one of the main pillars of what real car culture is in this modern era!!!! May we preserve this raw and authentic culture and be passed on to the future generations!!! Thank you for inspiring many people to get on to their dreams!!! You've really taught many people to appreciate what they have and cherish it!!! This video is indeed a top-notch!!!

One thing that definitely shows to modified car is how the age pretty quickly, you can definitely tell how a car ages especially on the period of the mods released for them and you'll need to update them once in a while, I think that is the reason why most cars neve stop evolving, it changes also as time passes by, it also goes whats on trend. So that's why I think keeping a car looking pretty much stock will age well over time.

A guy in a forum I used to frequent was chasing an intermittent power drain on a friends car. By accident, he found that it was a wire inside one of the door harnesses that only grounded out when the window was lowered on that door - the window was pushing the slightly frayed wire against the door panel. Grounds can be pretty crazy to trace out. Always good to take your time and check *everything*

Also wasnt sure if I wanted to try to mount the blades with the fender on the car to make sure the fiberglads flex of the blades would line up exactly where they needed to be. Luckily, it turned out fine." Sounds like it worked out fine, definitely does make a difference though if you care about details. Cutting/drilling should always happen before paint. I suppose it's not really a personal build they'll be holding on to, so it matters less.
