The real reason why any ps5 over heats is because the power supply in the ps5 over heats due to bad air flow to that compartment. So if they actually could have put those fans on the bottom half that's where it's actually needed. 🤔. But I'm the only one that knows this info. If Your ps5 over heats with your fans still. Hit me up. I modded my launch ps5. It now doesn't over heat for nothing. And it don't need those extra fans.

Why do you use that ugly cooling fan? it doesn't even work. a cmos cr2032 will not die if you leave the power on the console it's the same as with computers, so i don't know why ppl are saying that.

The ugly cooling fan does help by pulling air through the back. The guys excited about the cmos battery spot are people that have had to pull apart their ps3 or ps4 to replace it already.

I have a question.. I have a ps4 pro and I want to do a trade in for the PS5 pro, should I remove the internal hard drive and do the trade in without the internal hard drive because it has my games on it and maybe personal information..???

I just wanted to say Thank You for an Objective point of view on the P4Pro. It seems as if All the videos lately about the Pro are nothing but negative. I can understand why you grabbed a Pro, if I was doing what you do I would too, but, I can’t see me buying it, I’d probs go back to PC before I drop $1300 AUD on a pro, and especially on a background of near forced xplay with PC for FPS games like WZ n BO6 etc.

@ I moved from PC to PS4 to get away from cheating in MP FPS, I did not anticipate the forcing of xplay between console and PC back then. With Xbox now pretty much toast, xplay, moving forwards, is really PS and PC. The amount of cheating going on now with PC is off the charts. I thought it was bad 10 years ago, now it’s completely toxic. And that’s not to mention the advantages PC has with frame rates, audio, OC’ing controllers and mnk. I’m thinking about going PC again, PS5 FPS xplay is krazy town 😉

The Funny thing about the fans. They needed to be at the bottom. The Heat coming from the power supply needs to be dicipated. The heat from the Power Supply is the ps5 achelis heel, the true reason why the PS5 over heats and shuts off. I have launch ps5 and i modified my ps5 power supply to let more flow through it. Ever since that Modification. I never had my Launch Ps5 Overheat again and i stress tested it. Played two days straight no turning off. Before it would over heat on 18 minutes and shut off. 😢. I bought the PS5 Pro. And i can bet it has same overheating issue in future. And i already know it's from the power supply overheating. Call me a genius. I'll make a video later showing my ingenuity. ❤. 😊.

Have you noticed the ps5 pro power indicator light doesn't go all the way to the top wtf ? And I didn't put a shim under my SSD when I installed it I didn't have one is it important ? it's working how it should

I didn't notice the light. But now I Will and it's going to bother me forever. Thanks! The shim for ssd helps align it correctly to the port and provide ground path for static. It's probbaly fine without it, but not ideal.
