if -2.7 should be at that point on a number line, it will be wrong because the answer is actually 7.7 from the point except if using the numbers given

7.1 is still the correct distance between -2.7 and 4.4. Adding 2.7 and 4.4 = 7.1 I just point the point at -3.7 accidentally instead of -2.7 😬
