I passed my GED yesterday after struggling for 15 years back and forth with these subjects. I'm here to say thank God for using you to help change lives like mine and many others . Keep up the good work, Sir. God bless.

Oh men, I was so excited when I did it on my own, but then you mentioned in minute 3:59 to click on the toggle button.. it was 15 pi/4🤨. Putting on my notes.. the barrel problem I got it right, I will double check what was the difference from the cone and the cylinder🤔

Ikr I thought it was 11.8 pi. I got lost after that lol.

Thank you for these videos and showing us how to use the calculator. Do you know where I could possibly find this specific one online (Like a website or a download, if available) so I could use it for practice and get comfortable with it?
@GetSumMath2 жыл бұрын
You're welcome! It's a TI-30xs Multiview, and usually Staples or Walmart have them. They're only about $20, and you can buy one online to use and practice with!

Why did you add 3 At V= 126 cm 8:36
@GetSumMath11 күн бұрын
Grest question. You won't have to worry about adding that, but the units for volume are "cubes" so the little 3 means cubed. For this one, 126 little cubes that are 1 cm long, 1 cm wide, and 1 cm high would fit into that box. So 126 cubes or 126 cm^3 mean the same thing. Hope that helps!

Hey there, I bought a TI-Smartview one-year subscription for $18. But students have told me there is a free 30-day trial of it, as well: education.ti.com/eu/software/details/en/F4D60658D2D947F38F0A4C9C043B12E6/ti-smartview-for-mathprint-calculators

Thank you so much! Really helful! But could you please make a video for volume of cube as well, you haven't included it in this video. I just cannot understand the volume of a cube, idk why but calculating 'edges' for volume of a cube is so confusing to me😬
@GetSumMath5 ай бұрын
Hey there, you're welcome! A cube will be the same as a rectangular prism: V = lwh but the length, width, and height are all the same value (and those are called the edges)! So here's one example: Ex. A cube has a volume of 27 cubic inches. What is the length of each edge? A. 3 B. 4 C. 5 D. 2 It'll be 3 since V = 3•3•3 = 27, so each edge has a length of 3 inches. Does that help a little bit more with those types?

My Ti 84 calculator doesn’t have a toggle answer button…is there another way for me to get the answer for the second problem ?
@GetSumMath Жыл бұрын
One option is once you get your answer, you could type in the answers into the calculator to see which will give the same number. Let me know if that works for ya!
