As a long time fan of Rush over 45 years I really love and admire Geddy. I knew back in the 80s he was a huge baseball fan often asked to sing the National Anthem at baseball games back then. He did an interview with Dan Rather awhile back where he talked and gave Rather the grand tour of his collection. Quite impressive indeed. Now he's giving back to the game that gave him so much joy by parting with some of his collectibles. That can't be easy, because I know parting with some of my stuff would be terribly hard, but there's a time where you need to move on when it feels right. Very happy to hear he wants to write songs again. Looking forward to some new fresh music from this man. Thanks Geddy for being the great person you always have been to your fans.
