I bought this watch 2 days ago, they changed the machine inside, it's some Chinese one now, don't know how durable it will be but surely it's not as good as epson, they probably changed it to reduce the cost. Also my watch glass was smudged from inside, i had to clean it myself opening the back. I don't think people should buy this watch now any more. I just thought I would share my experience as people interested in this one might need an updated info.

I bough it last month and yes it is using sl28 chinese cheap movt, but the glass is not reflective as in the video. Under the sun i cant see the reflective even i moving around the watch. I think the swap the glass with junk movt 😅

l ordered this watch after watching your video only now to find out it will probably have Chinese movement not Japanese as shown in your video so now lm in the process of cancellation my order after being miss informed not intentionally l might add but certainly a lesson learned..

Hi, can you please tell about the durability of it if you know? Battery life? Which fails first. Watch or the battery?

The battery should work for 2-3 years on this movement. My brother still owns it, the case looks quite ok so far, just the strap tore and was replaced.

I recently opened my skmei 9112 and I was surprised that it does not have the Epson movement, it has a cheap Chinese movement number sl28, of very low quality, a disappointment, do you know why it could be like this?

It's not the frst time Skmei model that the japanese movements are replaced with a chepaer Chinese movements.

My mistake, on the case it's declared 30m wr. On the sellers eshop description its 50m wr :)

@@GedmisLaguna my friend, the store is sometimes wrong, the manufacturer believes that if the manufacturer declares that the watch has a water resistance of wr30, it is a specific water resistance of the watch, it cannot have a water resistance of 5 bars, the seller misled you but it does not change the fact that the watch is great.
