I've been thinking about this for a long time and came to conclusion that crying is for fans. That's why riders, footballers, boxers can do their job, and on the other side, fans can do their job. Without fans riders couldn't stop crying and fans would have to ride to find a way to cry. Or do some other shit to cry about.

Depends as if you longboard and aren't geared up then you can loose all your skin which is seriously painful but not so fatal. Also proximity flying has brutal but generally fatal wipe outs although Jebb Corliss managed to survive his one. Motorbike racing has seriously bed wipe outs. Free running also can really do damage if misjudged. Even horse riding brakes multiple backs and limbs as your going fast on an unpredictable creature.
