What waggler float do i I use for different depths? Is there a method of finding out ? The river I’m fishing at is around 8 feet deep, which size do I use ?

@@thiagosupreame1489 Brian here, it depends on many details, as well as depth of water, the speed and power of the flow is a factor, is the water smooth and steady or is it turbulent, rough and varying? How far do you have to cast to fish the part of the river you target? Are you fishing near the surface, midwater, full depth or are you dragging line over depth along the bottom. Also very important what are the target fish? This all has an influence on waggler choice. Generally the faster the flow and more powerful the water flow a bigger more buoyant float with a thicker tip is necessary. Slower water and calmer water you can use slimmer smaller floats. In any case always make sure that you choose a float heavy enough to cast the distance you need without struggling.
