35:45 Becca was actually incorrect here. The monsters prioritize characters over the villagers if they're the same distance away. She was referring to two players of similar distance in which the current player decides. Not that it really mattered since she was moved to the character but just for those who are interested in the game

Did everyone miss the mistake during game play? When the monsters meet the first time, the dials are supposed to be turned back 1. Thus the bride would no longer be face up. The needed to advance her dial again.

During the round where Becca "punched" the "Creature of the Black Lagoon", why didn't Becca use her special ability to make The Bride or Frankenstein's Monster take 3 steps away from each other? o.O; I mean: THAT was her perk card after all. And *gasps* Becca doesn't know any tunes about Flying a kite? How about: "Let's Go Fly a Kite" from Mary Poppins? xD

To be fair, is Frankenstein's monster technically named Frankenstein? only because Victor Frankenstein created it, making him technically the father of it, and thus passing on his last name to it, and since it has no first name, it can only fo by its last name: Frankenstein. It's a tad strange to think about, but still, it kind of makes sense.

I'm in my mid-50s and just getting into board games. So the question to all you lovely gamers out there....how do you remember all the rules, placements etc? I am halfway through watching this and am totally confused.....ok, I haven't watched any videos re set-up, etc yet just by watching I am sensing some routines yet the actual 7000000 rules.....how would someone go about remembering and understanding them? They forgot to increase the terror level when Frank and the Bride met near the end around the 53 mark. They still won, however it could have effected things if they had not.

@@kechkaren Can't find that in the rules PDF. I'm pretty sure the timer is the monster deck. Terror only goes up when a hero/villager is hit, or when a card directs you to do so. If the monster deck runs out, the game ends.

For an expansion, they can include: Norman Bates, The Thing, Chucky, Jaws, Michael Myers, The Birds, The Phantom of the Opera, zombies from Dawn of the Dead, the masked mob from The Purge, and possibly the Deadites.

This would be better if you could tailor the game to the monsters being used. You'd have the generic cards which are always added, then each monster would have their own unique cards that would add to the decks. It would really add to the thematic nature of the game, and make each game play slightly different.

True, but the reason why you use all the monster cards, is because they are your timer; once you've gone through the entire monster deck once, the game is over. If there are any monsters left on the board, everyone loses.

The game is actually really well balanced where the monsters are concerned. I have been in about a dozen sessions of it and it is always amazing how varied each play through can feel based on the monster combos, who is frenzied (this can changed by event or when frenzied is defeated), and where monster cards are shuffled into pile. 2 monsters (as in this video) is "easy" mode, 3 is standard, and 4 is hard mode.

Although I do agree that sounds fun, (maybe remove 5 cards from the main deck per monster and add their custom cards to the deck so its the same size) you could argue that the middle part of the cards somewhat do that since they only happen with certain monsters)

Creature from the black lagoon is male. During the film it is transfixed by the female character and is actively aggressive toward the male characters. It is a commonly accepted belief among fans that the Creature was attempting to reproduce with the woman which explained its one track mind that was on display during the first and greatest film of the black lagoon series.
