I have no idea why people hate the 7600 xt so much? at least where I am its much cheaper than the 4060 as well as the very comparable 6700 xt! I can get one for only about 370 CAD but the 6700 xt and 4060 are both well over 400, with the 6700 xt usually either unavailable or a crappy brand. If I can get 16 gigs of vram, a more recent release date, the same or more power, and a much lower price than similar cards why it is considered bad? btw ik that people always say that 7600 is basically the same, but why not just pay 10$ more or whatever it is do double vram and increase those 1% lows?

In my country the 7900 XT is the best imo because it is priced just $100 more than the 7900 GRE and is around $325 dollars cheaper than the 7900xtx. And the 4070 ti super is $215 dollars more. Yeah the 4080 super and 7900 xtx are both $1300 and $1200 respectively. Yikes.

How is the GRE the best when in most places it's ridiculously overpriced? Here you can get a 7800XT for 450-500€, but the cheapest GRE you can find is around 770€, so you are essentially paying 270-320€ more (up to 70% extra) for only 10% more performance. At that price, you can get the 7900XT for around 710€ instead, that's almost 20% better in performance and even has more memory (20GB over 16GB). Also, like others have pointed out, how can you compare the 7900XTX to 4090 when one is only about 920€ while the other is 2400€? You are paying 2.6 times more money for ~25% more performance. Not to mention the 4090 is like a power guzzler since it draws almost 100W more under load, so the price is even worse if you plan to use it heavily for many hours.

Got my 7900 GRE Challenger on amazon for 529$ USD around black friday. It isnt on the amazon page anymore though. Works great besides having to tweak undervolting because it would crash randomly otherwise. but it could be my PSU. Not 100% sure yet.

I have found really good luck with using the 7900 XTX for AI inference of big models (24GB) but I did get it on sale for $830 at a time when the only NVidia RTX 4090 are $2300 according to PC Part Picker. Sometimes you need the memory

People just don't like them for some reason. I assume it's something about the 4060 and 6700 xt being very similar price to them (in the US at least). I feel like a lot of these content creators don't actually put in any research about performance per dollar or prices in different areas/times, and instead just repeat what others are saying. there is nothing wrong with these two cards; where I live, they are cheaper and more widely available than either the 4060 or 6700 xt for example, and are as strong or stronger.

6750 is a whole other level, it’s closer to 6800 while 7600/XT is basically pumped up 5700XT. Not only its 16 gigs are slow but it’s also a card that barely beats 2017’s top end in raster, unless you want to run AI models it just isn’t worth it

7900gre and 7800x3d is better for gaming performance all x3d processors tend to be better at gaming. Even the 57-58x3d if you have a beefy enough gpu and play at 1440p-4K you will not see much of a difference in fps for the newer x3d’s only if you play 1080p do the newer gen x3d’s get a decent jump in fps. Just watched a video on it actually lol

I have a 7900 GRE and it is hard to beat for price to performance with 7800XT being essentially even on that metric. If someone has the extra $50 then the 7900 GRE is the go-to but saving the $ on the 7800XT is a strong decision too.

Definitely agree on the rx 7600xt being worst 7000 series GPU. All AMD did with the 7600 was bin the very best of the graphics chips, then use the binned chips for the 7600xt, then double the vram. From what ive seen of professional benchmark reviewers the 7600xt is under 10% faster than the 7600. And then the GPU above the 7600xt, the 7700xt is about 30% faster than the 7600xt.
