@conradandrew82511 күн бұрын
looks good! I'd go for the Gigabyte B650 aorus elite ax V2 instead if it's the same price or cheaper, because it will run cooler and has a gen 5 m.2 slot (only has 6 total fan headers though might want a fan splitter). Consider a standard 7600 (comes with a cooler!) or 7500f if you can get one to save money; both are powerful enough for the card. With that money you saved you might want to go for a 7800xt instead, but definitely no higher. happy hunting!

@conradandrew825 Okay 👍. I sure will consider this! I just purchased an Asus ProArt 4070 Ti Super and an AMD Ryzen 9 9950x for my first high end PC. I don't plan on doing too much gaming, but it's nice to have the option, so I went with the increased raw power the higher core count provides, which will be very helpful for slicing 3D models. I really wanted to wait for the 9950x3D because that 2nd gen 3D Vcache would be extremely helpful, but I needed to purchase my parts before the end of the year, so the higher core count of the 9950x is much more useful than the 3d Vcache of the 9800X3D in this scenario. As for the 4070 Ti Super, it's basically the best GPU you can get for under $1000 right now and will serve my purposes well enough. Just thinking about how much more powerful this thing is compared to the 2060 MaxQ in my laptop, it isn't even close😂

If you need a gpu right now. I'd get something for less than 100$, and in a couple of months, you can buy a next-gen card. @@MariukaS710 don't get fooled, these companies want you to spend more. 7800xt will be too much for 1080p even in 5 years time. 6750xt is the best option while still not overspending if you're worried about the future
@jallop791811 күн бұрын
Lost me right off the bat. Recommendeding the 4060 8gig card is laughable. Especially when you can save $50-60 and gonwith the RX 7600 8gig for the same FPS or better in some cases ir spend an extra 50-60 (depending on sales) on the RX 7700 XT. Currently $100-150 more could get you an RX 7800 XT honestly...
@justmatt265511 күн бұрын
You're falling right into the upsell tactics these companies want you to fall for. Just spend a bit more and look how much more you can get! Before you know it you've doubled your budget... 4060 is enough for a surprisingly large amount of people. 7600 is a decent choice too but if you want the Nvidia feature set then 4060 is great
@jallop791811 күн бұрын
@justmatt2655 , not really falling for it at all. Basic logic this gen for GPUs is anything at or under $500 AMD will offer the better price to performance and above that it depends on your wants. As for the Nvidea feature set, at the 4060 level, well, most of it isn't even a consideration. RT at the 4060 level shouldn't even be considered, and upscaling at 1080p or even at the 4060/7600 is questionable at best, depending on the title.
@justmatt265510 күн бұрын
@@jallop7918 for raw performance yeah you're right. When i said feature set I wasn't just talking about gaming. Nvidia is still much better for most workloads and even recording/streaming. AMD does now have the AV1 codec so i will give them that but they are still behind

Have you tried using your brain when creating your videos? 9800x3d - only for FHD monitors 480-540 Hz, for eSports games, and take a video card no higher than 4070/7800xt, because the settings are usually set to minimum. For a 4K monitor, no one with an IQ higher than 60 will take 9800x3d. In 4K, the video card will limit the fps in absolutely all games. The higher the resolution, the weaker the processor should be. I myself use 4K resolution in conjunction with 7500F + 4090, in all games I have a limitation on the video card. I will say even more, I very often have to turn on DLSS quality (the real resolution is ~1440p), and sometimes Fake (frame) Generation to get a playable fps of 100+. 99.9999% of new games are GPU requirements. NEVER, remember NEVER! Don't buy an expensive processor for a high resolution. 9800x3d + 4090 for 4k is the most disgusting choice!
