This show is a rare one in which it continues to stay good and fresh for the most part all the way through. The characters are amazing and well written, it's looking into the minds of serial killers and have cases based on real crimes. It's hella interesting, and the more you watch, the more you fall in love with the main characters. I really hope you continue to watch it, definitely worth it!

Procedurals can definitely be fun as long as the cases are interesting/varied and the characters are engaging. Love Bones, Castle, White Collar, NCIS, Criminal Minds and so so many others! And yes, some of them can run a bit long but there are several that do a really good job of staying fresh, with or without major cast shake-ups. Impressive really. I will say- the pilot for Criminal Minds does not do the show itself justice. Most of the things that sets it apart come in later in season 1. This is the only procedural that I’ve watched from beginning to end.

This is a great show, my favorite of this type of shows, love the psychological part of the cases, the characters are very well done, the acting is good, and I dont think there is a bad season, witch is impressive to maintain for soo long that the show last, hope you like it and continue to watch all seasons

I'm so not a Star Wars fan, but the Samuel Beckett line followed by, "Try not. Do, or do not." ..."Yoda." will forever be one of my favorite quotes in the entire Criminal Minds series. 😂

Criminal Minds is such a great show and I loved it all the way through its entire run. There are definitely seasons where I didn't love a new character as much as some of the others but the overall main crew (who you come to absolutely LOVE, even though you find out almost nothing about them here) is still there and the stories are still compelling. There was never a season I found painful to get through. The way the show is filmed changes a bit, too, after the first few episodes. In this episode it feels like they put some grey film over the lens and only shot on overcast days and didn't light a single thing. After a few episodes it's almost like they realized that just because the subject matter is dark doesn't mean the show has to be literally shot in the dark. They also use the relationships between the main characters to add levity going forward as well. They realized not every aspect has to be dark and the cases can be the dark part. A show I think you might enjoy that only has 4 seasons (3.5 really, thanks to the pandemic) is Wynonna Earp, if you haven't checked it out yet. It gets better as it goes and it's a show that got cancelled, picked back up by another network, and then cancelled again thanks to the pandemic. Thanks to the multiple cancellations they knew the show was ending and were able to wrap everything up in the final season and give the fans closure. It's satisfying to watch as the major storylines don't leave you hanging. It's a show set in a supernatural world but it's like a modern supernatural western. It's both fun and funny.

A tv pilot has to end in a way for the viewer to want more. It can make or break a potential series.

OMG I would be so happy if you choose this show!! This is such a great show and yes it focuses more on their work first and you will get to know the characters breadcrumb by breadcrumb - that what makes the show so great, it makes us eager to know them. It makes you feel like you are working with them as colleagues on their team.

I love criminal minds I think it’s one of the better shows out there has interesting story lines and good character development the episodes with kids are always the hardest to watch in my opinion

As a person who is in love with this show and has watched all 17 seasons of the show I can safely say that Season 1 isn't really that good, the show gets better from like S2 onwards...
