This is so cool! How does it sound with music playing? An alternate kit that includes a rechargeable battery would have been great too. A video on adding a battery would be fun to see too! Although, I think an 18650 might be overkill for a Bluetooth speaker, no?

It sounds decent at lower volumes (anything up to around half volume) but starts to distort if you go too loud. Better than most phone and laptop speakers but cant compete against a proper name brand bluetooth speaker of course. I haven't measured the current draw but I suspect that even a single ~2000mAh 18650 could run this little guy for quite a long while.

Puting some sponge or foam can make it sound better, like they do in speakers

Definitely if they made clear speaker dampening foam, I feel like adding opaque foam would make it sound better but kind of defeat the point of the case being clear.
