This whole what-if has been based on if the Saiyans were put in this universe and I still prefer the fresh new stories that you guys put up there, instead of reusing another old dynamic. Vegeta is enough. lol It will be interesting to see what Kakarot will do in the future with his new tail, which begs the question... will he be going the God route in this series or the SS4 route? Time will tell I hope.

I think I get it. Why I love Goku so much. He is at times selfish but he also shows love and loyalty to his friends and family, he is a warrior and a fighter but he just wants to be the best version of himself and not the apex predator that he could be. He likes to help people and loves being in the wilderness. He is flawed yeah but that must be the human side or the Saiyan side of him that makes him flawed but when push comes to shove he will always try to save the world.

What an episode. I think someone started cutting onions in here. I remember coming across this what-if back when COVID was at it’s height. Tuning into these stories gave me comfort and something to look forward at I time I felt most alone, and broken. So infrequently am I emotionally invested in what-if stories…but this? This pulled the heart strings just right. Geeks for fun, thanks for making this story. You guys make top-tier content, and I hope you all keep it coming! You guys deserve WAY more subs. Way more.

Personally I'm not that big off a fan of 4th wall breaking stuff, so that did hamper my enjoyment a bit. However, the use of it here makes sense here and didn't feel that jarring all things considered. It was probebly one of the only ways you could make last time's teaser make sense without breaking the world's rules too much (well as much as can avoid doing so with 5D characters running around). Also I see the reference you made there with the multiverse of Kakarots/Gokus. Now what I am really intererested in are the things you setup for Kakarot here. Him getting his own dojo, allowing for the possiblity for more ki-users to be introduced. Him actually telling people about his heartvirus, imo increasing the chance he could get better. And him getting his tail back allowing for a whole Pandora's box of things to happen in the future. Looking forward to see where you're going next with this. TLDR; I don't like the meta stuff. But this is some good stuff nonetheless. Gj.

This was quite the trippy episode, but talk about a tribute. I love all the little references and details like song lyrics, quotes, memes, etc worked out into the script. Even called him Dragon Boy. All of this was just 5th Dimensional dude being a petty Superman fanboy, but getting won over by Goku's charm. Now I am intrigued how Superman as a concept can compare since it seems that is what you're setting up. That will be interesting. I wasn't expecting Bat-mite at the end ranting about how his favorite character was killed off. I kind of wished we had Larry (Robin's #1 fanboy) show up, talking about how he loved Robin taking over and finally getting his time to shine.

I’m honestly conflicted on how to feel about this episode because on one hand I absolutely adore how Kakarot/Goku was characterized and how perfectly your writing team managed capture his essence, however, on the other hand I feel as though the plot hadn’t really progressed much. Another issue I had was the flow of the narrative and a lot of that is attributed to weird narration choices(the constant 4th wall breaks and it being from MXYZPTLK’s POV). That said I can see how Kakarot opening up about his fears and revealing his heart disease could have massive ramifications moving forward and that’d require him “becoming whole” to find the strength to finally do it, so I understand why this episode was made the way it was. I just wish we could’ve seen more after months of waiting. Overall I think it was a good episode, however, it had a relatively weak start.

Wait... so... are we getting Superman in the "what if Goku was in DC" Story, or a "Clark kent in the dragonball world" type deal? I'm down for both, but I was hoping at the beginning of this to see how aspects of dragonball, namely the saiyans, would interact with the DC cosmoloy; Thanagarians, Kryptonians, Green Lanterns (well I guess some of this is technically covered), etc. Still, this is an AWESOME series. @Geeks For Fun I don't know how Superman in DB can be as interesting as Goku in DC due to how the universes are set up. Maybe a version of Superman in a gag series, as a somewhat laidback straight man could have some comedy potential. Kind of like Kid Gohan when he was on his own, freaking people out, but still showing self-awareness and empathy. I guess I would like to see you guys take a stab at it, especially in that art style at the end. See how Superman's sincerity transforms the DB Multiverse. Purely because Mr. Mxyzptlk is petty enough to try and get justice for his Big Blue Boy. Just to make a case to show us that he's even more impressive than Goku.
