I've been meaning to do this scenario for a while, and now it's finally here! With one slight change of where Kakarot's spaceship lands, we can DRASTICALLY alter his life, and the life of many others. Instead of Grandpa Gohan finding Kakarot, he lands nearby Kame House! How will this affect Goku/Kakarot's personality as a Saiyan, as well as the story overall? Let's discuss in this full series movie edit of "What if ROSHI Raised KAKAROT"!

Having Kakarot be more intelligent, diplomatic, pragmatic, and stronger, it allows a very compelling story. Demonstrating how many problems can be solved through dialogue is very well done, and enjoyable. It also shows us a better version of Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz. Overall very good. I'll listen to this like a podcast every day.

Even though his Kikohu is much stronger then him, he would have a huge power level to do that

I've always wanted to see a 'what if' scenario where Mr. Satan, after seeing Roshi's performance at the Tournament of Power (presumably on "GodTube") and is inspired. Seeing how adept and capable Roshi is, even at his age, Mr. Satan is moved to want to better himself and become a more 'legit' martial artist. He then learns about how Goku and others benefited from Roshi's training and begs him to train him. We then get to see Mr. Satan delivering milk, fleeing from sharks, wearing a turtle shell, etc. When his training is complete, perhaps Roshi takes Mr. Satan to Baba where she has brought back five former villains for him to face in a gauntlet-style tournament. The last of these would be Mercenary Tao. I dunno, could be neat.

honestly, the story here and the consitency of the personalities is on point...way better than some other channels that ruins everything. Kinda disapointed that we didnt get to see a Gokhan (Goku fused with Gohan) vs Buu or a fused Zamasu. Also Goten was born way earlier and should have look like Goten either at the end of DBZ (aka start of gt) or like in DBS Super Hero...he still looks like a kid. A part from this...its very good...hope we can have another part when Dragon Ball Super will restart.

38:33 I got curious so I did a quick calculation. Wrathful form provides a 10x power boost to the user, meaning while Goku is in his wrathful form here, his power level against frieza is 20m. If you take into account how he transformed while he was in wrathful and multiply 20m by 50 (50 being the power multiplier from Super Saiyan), you get about 1 billion, meaning frieza stood no chance at all lmao.

I love these what ifs, unfortunately a lot of the drama of facing impossible enemies gets dissolved with a lot of theories. Everyone basically gang bangs the villain with there new powers or teamwork. I think more what ifs should add challenges and complications to limit the advantages gained from a change in history. Kind of like to independent what ifs together.

I like this idea because we know that Master Roshi was stronger than Grandpa Gohan. We know this because of the World Tournament when Roshi fought Goku. Goku at this point was stronger than he was when he killed his grandfather.

I few times imaginated stories on my way to/from work... About Vegeta having older sister. Sister that was somewhere away and gaining strength (because "female offspring is worse continuation of royal family than son" logic). What if that sister came to Earth during DB but managed to stay mostly out of the way and help Goku in desperate moments but in a way he doesn't remember her until she reveals herself to everyone due her brother, Vegeta, arrival.

@@quicksili875 then how you think of him is how you think of yourself. Yeah, he may not be as strong as the others, but he makes up for it in other ways. If it wasn't for him over coming his fear and taking 16 over to Gohan, would he have become strong enough to beat Cell? If he hadn't called everybody on earth to lend energy, would they have been able to beat Buu? Hercule has more uses, and potential, then a lot of the other characters cause he's very unique. You seem him as a comic relief, I see him as someone who could do a lot of given the right training and taught to tap into his own hidden potential. Difference of opinion aside, I'd really think it'd make an interesting story to see what would become of him if he actually trained with the Z Fighters

My only comment would be that Goku’s power level was about 260 when he originally fought King Piccolo. So times 10 is 2600 in wrath form even before the power increase you gave him. But I love this story. I always wanted to do a what if story on KZbin and would really love to work with you if you’re down.
