Hi Anne, you are quite correct, the mocoyana calathea is quite hardy, I personally find thought that the stromanthe is hardy also, but many ppl find it to be fussy.

Beautiful video. 🙏🏻 I've few of these plants like Celebs Pepper, Alocasia, Peacock plant _they are a part of my favourites, and will buy some soon..especially Spanish moss, she's such an interesting plant, looks like bunch of roots falling down..would definitely want her to bring a twist to my little garden. And Buddha's palm also too amazing & calming as well.. will buy it definately 😊 The Stromanthe is also amazing, she's like Ti plant with beautiful colours playing together. I have a stromanthe triostar for about a month now, it is doing well, always popping new leaves, so fast , I was having a little tension about this plant but now I got a good relief from tension realizing that I'm living in a high humid area like Kerala😁✌🏻.

Hey Ann loved all your top 10 favourite plants . It's really difficult to choose just one for the contest . BTW your recent addition that Hoya Alba and if you remember I have put picture of this one for Insta contest . That picture was clicked on 20th June but now it's almost gone . I just don't know what went wrong 😒😒😒 . So I thought of repotting it and then I realised that the cuttings were propagated in green foam - the one which used for flower bouquet . Please throw some light in this case 🙏

If your monstera is not thai consolation you need to trim it back once it looses variegation it won't grow any variegated leaves, if it's not thai consolation.

Yes I do know that but,don't have the need to trim it just yet. The variegation is still there and only the fenestrations were missing on the last leaf.what I need to do is give it brighter light. Then let's wait and watch howvthe next leaf turns up😊

I generally use sea weed solution. But if your plants are getting a lot of rainfall then fert will drain out. You could use cow manure or vermi compost
