It's pretty sick tbh & definitely a bit more economical than it was at release! With that being said, I do honestly strongly prefer the fanatec ecosystem. It's just so much easier to mix & match with a longstanding platform that has a TON of wheels to choose from, as well as proven software that works well across platforms. I think at these price points & and above, though, it really comes down to preference. You're getting probably the best sim driving experience you've ever had if you're jumping up from belt drive systems, or getting into for the first time! It does have a pretty nice build quality & i think they just need to really keep adding support to this platform over the next few years! Great review🫶🏽

I think it's completley unacceptable at the price point to have "strong plastic" on the case and pedal plate (which is a significant wear point where "strong plastic" will become gross and greasy as it wears). Also the optional rims are basically just the stock rim, just one open and one closed. It's not really a choice of rims, it's the same one with a slightly different shape. Again, at the price point this is totally unacceptable. Big pass.

I'd love to have one of those, that'd be my first option, but here in Brazil it costs US$2,210.00. Considering the minimum wage in Brazil is US$1,40/h, I'd have to work for almost 1600 hours before I had the money to purchase it. I made a video, it came on air this afternoon, talking about how it's almost impossible for an average guy like me in Brazil to afford those products. Getting a G29 is already very hard, imagine one of those... Besides it, the video is awesome! Congrats and thank you for bringing it to us!

@@eatisonline Yep! It's because of the exchange rate. Our currency is the Brazilian Real and the minimun wage here in Brazil is R$8,00/h, but considering the exchange rate - when I made the research last Monday it was US$1 = R$5,70, you have 8/5,7 = US1,40 (rounded)

Pro!! I have all of these, finally xbox. PC and PS5 support together. I modded the crappy H patern with a gated shifter & heavier spring & taller shift lever. Works great but wish the pro handbrake worked with the H pattern. 😒

I would love to be able to remove the grip part of the RS wheel, and place it on my OEM Pro Wheel hub. That way, I can keep my clutch paddles for launch control, and have an F1 style wheel like the RS has. Then I'd love to put the OEM Pro Wheel on the new RS Hub to benefit from the extra buttons, and lack of clutch pedals. They really did it assbackwards...

Now that I can use it on PC/PS5/Xbox, I am sold. I have a small place so one wheel set up is a big help. The simplicity of just switching a cable or two, is also a big plus. Finally, the only other competitor, Fanatec has had so many issues, there is peace of mind.

This pro racing wheel would be great for a beginner so they would save some money on their setup. It is certainly still very capable. It has a solid build. I'm certainly no "PRO", so i would start off with this wheel system if I were to race.

Hi I am finally happy to order this wheel + the pedals, and i have few questions as a begginer in Logi : 1 Are we gettings screws for the base and pedals to install them on the rig ? ( and what type of screws it must be M6/M8 ?) 2 Am I able to install these 3 pedals directly to the simrig, after detaching them from this plastic baseplate ? 3 How often this lubricant for pedals (if ever) should be used, and generally are these brake modular parts require gloves, cause maybe they are slippery ?

1. You can use the screws of the clamp. But they are just regular M6 bolts, costing a few cents a piece at your local store. 2. Yes, I have mounted mine directly on the big pedal plate of my simlab gt1 evo. 3. I used it once more than a year ago when I changed elastometers of the brake pedal. Never had issues.

Can anybody clarify if the hub that is fitted on the standard wheel can be removed and fitted onto either of the new wheels instead of having to buy a new hub ??

The new wheel rims can NOT fit on the old original hub. The diameter of the bolt circle is different, also the original wheel rim is dished and the new RS rims and hub are flat. Also if you try to remove the original rim from that hub, something will likely break, glued in sections and tricky to get the joystick out.

El pedido ya está devuelto y en sus oficinas. UPS lo dejó en un pickup, casi 20kg de pedido, pedales, base y freno de mano. Definitivamente retornaron el pedido hacia Logitech, desde el 18 de diciembre tienen el pedido en sus instalaciones y yo todavía no tengo el reintegro en la cuenta. He hablado con ellos y les da igual retener tanto dinero. La experiencia con Logitech es muy mala, siento compartir que no parece una empresa seria.

Thumb thus up so people get informed before new purchases! Not-so-fun fact: The new g pro ebrake DOESNT work when plugged into the back of the wheelbase. You'd think a Logitech device would be compatible with the proprietary USB hub in the back of the wheelbase. Another couple gripes that I have with the wheel additions: The factory wheel that is included has two analog paddles underneath the digital paddle shifters. Those can be used for launch control like in F1 (to set a clutch bite point). Why is that important? Well, the NEW RS F1 style wheel DOESNT have those... (Ironic as it is F1 styled). To add insult to injury, you cannot use the new RS F1 style wheel on the factory provided wheel hub. The buttons don't line up. What a stupid oversight. It should be the other way around... Or at least one should be able to use the grip part (F1 shaped wheel) to be installed/mounted onto the factory provided wheel hub somehow so that you get the F1 style analog paddles for launch control. The new wheel hub (which you can install the two new wheel designs on.. the F1 RS style one and the Round one) at least give you 2 extra buttons since they did away with the 2 analog paddles below the paddle shifters. This all makes me wonder if and when they ever release a new H pattern shifter, if it will even plug into the back of the wheel base or not... I'm not a fan of all this extra cable management. One of the reasons I went with Logitech was to keep all my other peripherals in the same software ecosystem as well as less cabling for my PC. Oh well... Early adopter problems...

You need to connect the wheel base to a PC or Mac running G HUB to update the firmware. Once you’ve done that the shifter/handbrake will just work in GT7.

Fanatec gt dd with the wrc xbox wheel is €900 and you get the pedals with it and the standard gt dd wheel. So about €350 cheaper

Does that version run at the full 8Nm? I'd priced the 30cm WRC wheel up at the time the PRO came out (including nicer gear pedal shifters they were around the same) but whatever Fanatec base I'd considered had to run at 5Nm with the 30cm rim, so went with the PRO for 11Nm (8Nm would be fine though for rally games for me). Fanatec were in a bit of a mess then (none were available either) was another reason I avoided, but things might be better under Corsair ownership now. Now debating whether I need the upcoming 32cm round MOMO wheel for the PRO but not sure 2cm extra will do much for the cost.

Logitech sure loves using plastic. In the mid 90s, I bout a Thrustmaster T1, which had plastic, but a solid metal steering shaft, aluminum face plate, the pedal base had an insanely heavy metal bottom, and the pedal shafts were metal with plastic foot plates. In 2000, I upgraded to a Logitech Wingman Formula Force (I wanted FFB), and it was practically all plastic. It felt like extremely cheap quality, flimsy, it creaked constantly, and it felt like it was going to break when you really had to use it hard. After I took about 20 years hiatus, when I wanted to get back into racing I went with Thrustmaster again, going with a T300RS GT and T3PA-Pro pedals (because these pedals are made completely of metal). Sadly, if I was to upgrade to a DD wheel right now, it would probably be from Moza.

Logitech is an absolute disaster for real customers. If you live in the EU, do not buy their products - you’ll regret it. Support is non-existent, you’ll wait weeks for generic responses, and the disrespect towards paying customers is unbelievable. Their products are cheaply made, sold at extreme margins, and fall far short of the quality they advertise. As for videos like this: Don’t trust them blindly. When creators receive free products and VIP support, they’re far from objective. Logitech takes care of influencers while leaving real customers in the dark. Consider yourself warned. Buying Logitech means drawing the short straw.

The issues I’ve faced range from poor product design in terms of packaging to an utterly ineffective after-sales support system that has left me without a solution for over a month. For some context, I ordered the Logitech G Pro Racing Pedals, which arrived damaged on December 5, 2024. The damage was particularly frustrating because it was clearly caused by poor packaging design. Specifically, the heel rest was damaged at one edge, likely due to an impact on the package during transit. Unlike the Logitech Wheelbase, which comes with sufficient buffer space in the packaging to protect it from external forces, the pedals are poorly packaged. While the pedal faces (where you press for throttle, brake, and clutch) are adequately cushioned, the base plate is packed in such a way that it directly touches the outer walls of the box. This means that any impact on the box is transferred straight to the base plate, leaving it vulnerable to damage. This could have been easily avoided with better packaging design, such as creating additional buffer zones around the base plate, similar to what they do for the Wheelbase. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. Logitech’s after-sales support has been nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, I reached out to their chatbot, which is their primary customer service interface, but it quickly became apparent that it wasn’t equipped to handle complex issues. After escalating the case, I was transferred to email support, but here things got even worse. Every response came from a different agent, and they repeatedly asked for information that I had already provided, such as photos of the damage, the serial number, and proof of purchase. This constant repetition caused unnecessary delays and frustration, and it was clear that there was no continuity or proper management of my case. Additionally, while Logitech does offer phone support, this is only available for technical issues. If your problem involves a damaged product, returns, or replacements, the phone support team simply redirects you back to the email system, which is notoriously slow and disorganized. At one point, they even closed my case without resolving it, forcing me to start the entire process again. What makes this situation even more frustrating is how poorly Logitech complies with EU consumer protection laws. According to EU regulations, customers are entitled to repair or replacement of faulty products within a reasonable timeframe. Logitech’s handling of my case, with over a month of delays and no clear resolution, is a direct violation of these rights. This lack of respect for consumer laws is alarming and shows how little they value their paying customers in the EU. What’s also disappointing is the stark difference in how Logitech treats influencers compared to regular customers. Creators who review their products seem to receive VIP support and free replacements, while paying customers like me are left in the dark. This disparity is incredibly frustrating, especially when dealing with high-priced products like the G Pro series. If you’re considering purchasing the Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel or other products in this range, I strongly recommend you think carefully. The support process is not just slow-it’s practically non-existent. For a product in this price category, I expected far better both in terms of quality and customer service. How can it even be close to a The best ecosystem? Its a great wheelbase with the most bland ecosystem. I do not like true force with logitech or full force from famatec either. It feels digital and fake. I prefer that real suspension feel. Idc about noise or vibrations from the motor and other things like that. If anything it's over done and doesn't feel natural. To each there own but the logitech dd feels amazing even without it on its a fantastic dd wheelbase.
