i have wanted a sim wheel for 15 years, moza might be newer but its the way i was able to get into sim racing on a budget and they have plenty of great upgrades for the R5 bundle i bought on black Friday sales

I've got a complete Moza system on an RSeat A120-GT. I have the handbrake, sequential shifter, the H-pattern shifter, the R9 DD with the CS V2P Steering Wheel and the CRP2 pedals. The handbrake has a little bit of noise, not bad. The H shifter sounds pretty clunky but I can live with it. I wanted the R12 but my wife lost her nearly 20 year job so I had to make cuts to finish it. The only issue I've had so far is the throttle on the CRP2, mine was not quiet out of the box. I took it apart and found major scuffing inside the body where the spring goes. There was very little lube and the plunger has a spacer that is made of hard plastic. From an image I got from Moza via Sim-Motion it looks like they switched to what looks like a nylon spacer. So I'm hoping Moza will send a new throttle and it will be silent. As for the RSeat A-120, I can't recommend it. The cockpit itself is extremely tight and stiff but hard to adjust as it has a rough pebble like coating. The bad is the documentation and support. Many manuals haven't been updated to newer revisions so you have to assemble some items without any guides. Support took forever to respond, the support portal doesn't even respond to tickets, I had to contact sales just to get assistance. Some small parts were improperly machined and other items were missing. They said they would ship the replacements with my last order but never did. I didn't follow up again so I worked around the deficiencies.

@@AsianCheffI’ve heard that the original site has a lot of problems. Apparently shipping takes forever, and their payment provider is a bit sketchy. So maybe Microcenter? Moza itself isn’t bad, but their site seems weird.

I’m currently stepping up from Logitech G29 which I had with their shifter to Moza r12 with loads of accessories like truck wheel, multi function stalks, shifter, handbrake etc 😀 glad I did not miss the Christmas discount. Had a bit second thoughts, but your video assured me that I will be enjoying it a lot

There is a way to get a load cell for the SRP-Lites, you have to get the Alien mods kit for it. It's plug an play with the original brake connector. There's also upgrades for the clutch and throttle pedals through 3DWrap

Moza would have been my first-choice ecosystem if it was compatible with PS5 without a 3rd party adapter. The R16, FSR & Lambo wheel is right what I would have liked to have gotten. Hopefully sometime in the near future this could be possible.

I modded the sr-p lite with the performance kit for the brake, a cheap damper for the throttle, and a vibration kit for both, all for a little over 100. So happy with the upgraded feel plus the force feedback

ended up going with the R9, kept my cost low by pairing with the ES wheel. Figure the wheel is easier to upgrade than the whole base in the future.

Moza is missing out on a business opportunity. R3~R9 should be Playstation, Xbox and PC compatible. I feel this will make Moza more competitive with Thrustmaster, Logitech and Fanatec. With better quality control on the upper price point products (R16 &R21) I am sure they can come closer to SimMagic, SimCube and AseTek on the more serious sim market.

The only thing I expect from MOZA is real, proper pedals for truck games. None of these current ones correspond to a real-life regular car or even a truck, everything is supercar upwards. The truck pedals have a much larger area than what is in current sim pedals and the feeling is more sensitive, 20nm of force is easily enough and the dead zone should be at least 7-10mm. In addition, the pedals are pressed more "from top to bottom" while the sim pedals work "to push forward".

Love the video very clear to see the passage from starter kit to supreme set up. Think Moza’s stock would go through the roof if they bought into PlayStation. I’m still using PS4 and want to start putting a rig together for Dirt 2 and ACC and GT6/7. I don’t want to have to buy a PC or upgrade to a PS5 pro as that’s adding to the cost. Just want to ditch the hand held controller and gay back to using a wheel like I had 20 years ago with my old pc set up!

I think Moza do adapter to allow you to connect to other wheelbase's and you'd use their hub to connect the the wheel to a PC.

New to sim racing , fell in love with once I used a friends pc version. Always played driving games , i have a series x Xbox not looking to change to pc either just yet . My question to you guys is , can I buy a moza r12 or 5 with the Xbox wheel (understand may have to be separate purchases) and can I also use the crp peddles with Xbox ? Would they plug into the r12/r5 ? To summarise r12 preferably r5 wheel base , with Xbox chip steering wheel only and crp with clutch kit and peddles mod for realistic feel , and h pattern gear shift. Is that possible?

I ordered myself the R5 Bundle on the 13th. I added the 12 inch wheel and the Formula wheel mod. Aswell as the SRP Lite Clutch pedal. I probably wont ever end up using the pedals as I already have heusinkveld sprints but as a backup in a pinch they would be there 🤷‍♂️. Coming from using the Logitech G29/920/27 since 2015 it's hopefully gonna be a huge game changer. Mainly racing on iRacing dirt oval and short track ovals tho so the formula mod may hardly ever get used. Plan to get the trucking wheel at some point with the multi function stalks

Was debating between the R3 and PXN V12. This has definitely steered me to Moza because of the upgrade path in the future. PXN is better out of the box but has very limited potential.

I dont know who these pros are that use 15+ nm 😂. I'm a serious iRacer and compete in leagues, i have the wheel set to 7nm so that i can endure 30+ laps and feel enough to workout what the car is doing.

I have the R12 and also set it back. In my case to 8/9nm so i have some space for the extra detail without clipping.

The big wheels are all about removing the clipping, there is zero advantage to using higher the real life steering inputs. My manual rack “race” car with sticky tires requires about 8 nm (guessing on feeling) to drive unless you’re sitting still, but bump a curb and the force would definitely be in the 20 nm range.
