Oh my gosh. I remember when I was 6-10 and I would listen and sing along to this cover all day long. It was before I even knew what exactly anime was. I would listen to it on an app but I didn't know who covered it. All I knew was the title was Again. Then I fell in love with anime and wanted to listen to the song again, but couldn't find it. After all these years, I finally found it. I'm happy :D

Amalee just released her fandub of this, but it just isn't as good as this one. I feel like the words flow better here and overall it sounds nicer. Makes me sad, since most people will look to hers as the definitive fandub when this has already been here for so long :( Same with the Attack on Titan fandub on this channel, it has better lyrics than other ones, but since Amalee and Natewantstobattle used another translation that's the one everyone uses. I mean, that one has the lines "There are beings that live off our fears, and their words are like knives as they play with our lives" WHAT WORDS? TITANS DON'T TAUNT PEOPLE WITH WORDS!! But I digress, I'll just try to direct everyone I can to this channel, and I'll keep coming back too.

You know, looking back, I think a lot of the reason I always liked (and still like, but not so much more than everyone else) Geeky's stuff so much more than other fandubbers is because Geeky's are more relatable - Geeky doen't have a perfect voice, and until a couple years ago they didn't have formal vocal training. And that was really encouraging to me, as someone who doesn't have a perfect voice even with vocal training. Sure, it's kinda monotone, but that doesn't mean that it's a bad dub! It just means that someone with a Real Person Voice did a dub and it was awesome! I feel like I grew more vocally by trying to sing along to fandubs than I ever did with actual training, just because I wasn't under any pressure to do well and it was okay for my voice to break. Geeky's a friggin' gift, okay? A gift. And I love all of their work even when the singing could be better because at least they tried. (sorry about all the "they" but I don't wanna just throw around "she" without knowing for sure)

I really like the fact that you can change the key of your voice--it makes you sound really good when you sing the song dubs. @HaruAbsloution First of all, it's "there's", not "theirs". Just a little something to help your grades. Second of all, I actually do get paid to sing. I agree that my voice isn't suited to this in the same way Yui's is, but, conversely, her voice wouldn't be well-suited to the kind of music I get paid to sing. I'm a classical singer at heart, and I'm just indulging myself by singing some pop. We all have our niches in life. :)
