Content creators like him often have 8 GB RAM in their laptop/PC, they also don't need any more. Also, putting more RAM is definitely not 'INNOVATION'. Features like face recognition, voice assistant etc. can be considered as innovation, but RAM? Nobody needs more than 8GB RAM in a smartphone. Even if they did give it, it is useless because no app surpasses the usage. IMO companies need to focus on the quality of the existing features instead of trash features like 2 MP macro camera...

And all running apps stay there. but actually i dont need it. earlier i had canvas turbo (17000/-) and its battery died so i exchanged it for Redmi note 3 (12000/-) but i just had to pay 9000/- with exchange value and im using it till 5G Network covers 50% of Indian Mainland.

Watching this in 2021. You are so true. Sometimes I feel someone told me this a few years back. I used to be crazy about smartphones. Didn't realize it wasn't worth paying so much hard earned money. Also, lately there has been no proper innovation. They purposely don't upgrade certain features so that they can introduce it in their future device and to compete with Apple, everyone is following in their footsteps increasing prices, removing headphone jacks and such. Its really infuriating. 5G isnt even here yet and everyone is simply investing in expensive phones promoting 5G support thinking they wont have to make new purchase when 5G is introduced. Sir you used to make videos like best phones under 15k like that. Please do that every 6 or 8 months so people can make an informed decision. You are one of the most reliable reviewers here.

I use a Redmi 4. It's almost 3 years old. It's still good for what I do. Internet banking Listening to music KZbin or Hotstar (etc) Ola, Uber, Jugnoo (not lately) Zomato, Domino's (not lately) Whatsapp, MS Teams, etc I don't play games on my smartphone. So I'll be smart and use this phone as long as it works. And when I do upgrade, I'll upgrade to a mid range one only.

Man you were pretty angry during the whole video and it's pretty reasonable. I had MI A1, Loved it. But after two and a half years of usage, the screen started to lose it's adhesive and the battery life was not good. So I bought the original Redmi Note 8 (4/64 for 10K), and the battery life is amazing. I'll say nowadays if you want to buy a phone, 15K/16K is the maximum amount you should pay for a phone. I saw your previous video too, regarding this very same topic and I must say you are blunt about your opinions and no one generally open for the fomo by brands. I was using Moto X Play and after using that for 3 and a half years and the screen broke I purchased Realme XT and then I decided to get away from all the new launches because marketing literally plays with people's psychology and I myself learning digital marketing I know how targeted marketing can be. I just keep myself updated once in a while and that's enough for me. My request will be please do the same thing for laptops because in that field too marketing is going way ahead in nurturing minds. Keep up for your good work!

Not just that but HOW MUCH ZOOM DO YOU ACTUALLY NEED IN REAL LIFE! According to research papers, our eyes are around 12-13M.P . We don't need beyond that. Otherwise use telephoto or periscopic lens for zoom.

Depends on your usage case and your ui. All Chinese brands have heavy ui which is not that optimised. But 4 gb is the sweet spot.

$gb ram is decent and 6GB is more than enough for everyone but the brands should optimize it. My k20 reloads some apps even with 6GB ram.
