The battery life on my A40 is superb! Just use dark mode over every app, turn useless actions off and you're guaranteed to have 40%+ by the end of the day (often 70%+). I know, you have to give up comfort a bit in order to achieve that, but hey, it's the limit of our technology now, we have to use what we have.

I've owned a Sony Z3Compact, and a Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017).. and plastic back sounds wonderful! Glass is way to slippery.. and makes you want to put a rubber around your phone :s. Plastic is much better... even though it doesn't look as pretty... Usability for the win!

I have this phone, and i overall like it, but one problem is that it breaks really easy, I have a screen protector (is that what its called?) One time i dropped it on my keyboard on my desk and it got a scratch over the screen. But other than that i am very pleased with it, and i would recommend it if u want a smaller and cheaper phone! Please don't buy it, you will regret it, unless you will be using it for calls only, the internet is too slow, it keep freezing all the time, l have to restart it mostly. Plastic back don't crack! Unlike the iphone X I dropped from 1 step height and it cracked the glass. But it does scratch easily, I have a fine scratch on the back of my A40 by just pulling it across a glass table every morning for less than a month I had it. Also battery life is pretty good if you ask me, it's better than iphones SE and X I used before it for sure, and it charges pretty damn fast.

I would go with the Galaxy A70, it's bigger and has on screen fingerprint. I have reviewed that also.

No the S10e is better then Galaxy A70 midrange budget phone. hope you didnt get the A70 cause I gonna give you better info to help you. A70 is has a higher percentange pixel full HD+ 1080x2400 vs S10e 1080x2280 but S10 has a higher display and brighter with HDR10+. A70 is clocking at 2.0ghz which is useful for most game but does lag a bit snapdragon 675 while the S10e is 2.80ghz snapdragon 855 highest class to able to play games with no lag or no framerate drops high graphics or it even can hit 60fps if you lower your graphics down. This also mean S10e can screen record with no lag even at highest quality, it will play smooth 60fps and forgot Since s10e is running at 2.80ghz with 6 or 8gb ram, your able to get that 60fps feel depending onthe game or graphics quality you setted. Menu navigation will be fast and fluid then A70 scrolling to menu. Picture quality A70 is 32 max megapixel vs the 16 megapixel but just cause its higher doesn't mean its better. The lens are no where close to beat the S10e in term sharpness clarity. Both can record 4k but s10e will looks better for filming cause of the processor built in it. Okay so bench mark performance goes for S10e Hope this help you...

Remember the A40 and a lot of European imported samsung phones only worn on 3G in the US. You will not or very less likely to be able to hook up with the US LTE bands unless the phone is very high end.

Im a tech guy and I say Iphone 11 is better and consider the price cost and how effective it is. I would pay $2000 just to buy iphone 11 pro max. A40 is a low class running at 1.80ghz is not good for gaming but it best for light to medium gaming and lower graphics performance. Iphone 11 would beat the A40 picture quality the lense is much sharper clarity then A40 that uses not speical lense but normal. A40 record 1080p but consider the lense and dynamic range is not good, I saw a test a40 it looks crap then my LG G7 1080p recording. but for people who just need to go cheap then its a fine phone but dont ever say this...! This phone is better then iphone 11 pro max. I would say Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is better then I phone 11 pro max and I do specs not the phone!
