All these figures from Sam. In Australia over the past 12 months, ICE car sales increased significantly and hybrids outsold pure EVs by 23%. Pure electric sales have plateaued here at about 7%. Just driving around or walking the streets, you can see for yourself that hybrids are everywhere now.
@mavelous17636 ай бұрын
What’s your point? That ev/ice vehicles (hybrids) are popular now? No kidding. Wait 12 more months to see how the pure EV market looks.

Geely - Zeekr need to stop announcing or revealing and begin mass production. They already revealed many cars but none are producing.

You kidding? Geely has the most interesting EV line up at the moment.
@abebegirmay33276 ай бұрын
@@byhyew Yes and I am saying they need mass production because all their announced cars er epic and many people want them. For example they already announced Zeekr 007 Wagon which is one of my favourite but not started producing yet. It goes the same for other models too.

Someday could you explain why the rims are so big and the tire sidewalls so short? Smaller rims are better for a lot of reasons so I don't understand why big rims are so popular. Isn't it just a fashion statement?

you do realise, its a design brief to make it look good. when it comes into production, it will probably have skinny tall tires to save on costs

Don't say "the tarifs in the US and Europe..." because that implys that they are the same which they are not. The ~100% US tarifs are practically an import-stop whereas the EU tarifs will make the cars more expensive but not more. Also tarifs for BYD are the lowest with around 17%. For comparison: the US had around 25% before they raised the import-tax to 100%.

Extreme weather is delaying crop planting and impacting yields around the world, Reuters reported. “Vast swathes” of farmland in Russia, China, India and parts of the US recently experienced “extremely hot conditions and below-normal rainfall”, the outlet said. Low rainfall forecast for July and August in the “breadbasket” Black Sea region could “stunt sunflower and corn yields”, the newswire noted. Meanwhile, the Financial Times said that sales of olive oil “plunged” in parts of the Mediterranean due to “steep price rises”. The FT added: “Droughts and heatwaves exacerbated by climate change have knocked olive oil output in Spain, the world’s largest producer, as well as other major producing countries such as Italy and Greece, creating a global shortfall.”

It's called "climate cycles". Every 100,000 years for the past million years the earth goes through warming and cooling cycles. I suppose we blame the dinosaurs in the last ice age for not farting enough. Just study the earths historical climate swings.

Zeekr should’ve listed in HKong instead of NYork…..too bloody risky with current geopolitics. Also I reckon BYD Atto size SUV would ideal for most people. Midsize not too small and not too big and practical city driving.

sorry to say Sam, but electric cars are now getting BORING. The only innovative cars are Cybertruck, Canoo and Aptera. I just stepped into an AYION and its big inside sure, but the dash is ridiculously long. And whats with the thousand and one plastic add ons? Doesnt that add weight and production time?

This is because China is a Communist country with communist ideology masquerading as a democratic open market economy. Everything and everyone is essentially owned and controlled by the central Government.

One question: do Australian homes have cellars? Why not? You could cool your homes passively without the need of any electricity nor any devices like ACs. People waste so much electricity and creating and installing devices despite nature giving them way better very obvious options. 🤦🏼

Why do you only consider buying car stocks and promote them? There are many Blue Chip stocks worth buying, but you lure people in to risky investments. Better keep your focus on EVs.
