@@brandonfelarca1721 But it's not. Recycling things has to be sorted and cleaned by very specific conditions. It is FAR far harder and more complicated to "magically recycle" that the average person has ANY clue. Hell, most don't even understand that little symbol does NOT mean "recyclable" it's JUST what kind of plastic it is. It's basically all been a huge psyop.
@JediSentinal2 ай бұрын
@@xxxlonewolf49isn't it wonderful that manufacturers can slap the symbol on stuff that isn't even recyclable? 😂 Also recently learned chip bags contain a bunch a layers of different materials that are hard to seperate so basically none of them are recyclable. Fucking wild. And the amount of lobbying means few know about it and you get socially shamed for "not recycling enough" despite the fact that those shaming you are throwing non recyclables in the recycling bin so they feel good about themselves. It's such a sham. (That said, most of it _is_ actually recyclable to my knowledge.)

The Guardian Corps refers to a special formation of War-Robots, not all of them, Specifically the 1,000 War-Robots on the Treasure ship Queen of Ranroon on Dellalt tasked with protecting the Vaults of Xim, There sometimes is a bit of a mix-up as they've only been depicted once in Star Wars Media.

Cis droids we're the equipment of the enemy. He couldn't use them without revealing to the entire galaxy that he controled both sides, he had to defeat them. Getting them to shut down via orders from cis hq is the quickest way to defeat them while creating a degree of separation from controling them.

I would argue the prices for 1 basic Sith wars infantry droid is x100 the prices of 1 B1 battle droid, which mean for every 1 Sith wars droid, 1000 B1 battle droids could be purchase, it's also possible that the Sith Wars droids had yet to be reengineer to be a simplify, to a less expensive and cost effective that performs just as well or well enough for the price tags.

To me battle droids were the equivalent of the phalanx and the Clones were like the legions. And like the phalanx it was underutilized after replaced. The empire should have overwhelmed the rebels with droids while the living troops were used for more strategic purposes.
@nonyabisness63062 ай бұрын
I would argue the B1 is actually the best battle droid. It is a human replacement. whereas virtually all other battle droids are specialised units. a b2 cannot be a pilot, engineer, tank operator etc. mass-produced b1's can do everything that you need. now maybe specialised droids are better at any one job, but they can only do that one job. and the b1 can integrate seemlessly into existing human operated systems.

Thank you for putting this one together - a lot of research had to have gone into this! Really a fascinating topic. I’d probably do the same thing after the droid revolution in 4015, but it’s a shame the usual reaction seems always to be rewinding advances back centuries, if not millennia. And then, of course, stifling further advances for centuries. I wouldn’t be so despondent had I watched our faithful servant droid kill my own family, but somewhere between the two extremes lies the proper solution. Does anyone know of any stories written about the uprising? I guess I didn’t know there were multiple instances of planned revolts - the only other I heard of was that droid who uploaded himself into the Death Star. I think the droid was moments away from initiating the galaxy-wide command, or uploading some code, to every droid in existence, in the entire galaxy, but Luke’s proton torpedoes found their mark before that procedure was started.

one thing I've never understood is the argument that the Old Republic somehow had any kind of manpower issues.....the amount of worlds populations available to the republic during both the Mandalorian wars and the civil war is massive and it makes zero sense that they would have any kind of man power issues....production of weapons and ships maybe they had issues with but manpower? that just doesn't seem possible...
