@polocash11 My husband and I were just watching a documentary about Garth, and he remembered the DJ introducing Geoege Strait as "a new young artist from Texas, and we think you're gonna like him." The song they played after that inro was Unwound. He said that's when he decided that he wanted to be a country singer. I thought that was pretty cool!

Starting with "Unwound" in 1981, Strait has reached the Top 10 of the Hot Country Songs charts with all but 14 of his single releases. He has 44 No. 1s on the Billboard country charts, the most of any artist. Strait has also amassed 86 Top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, second only to Eddy Arnold, who had 92.

Y'all say at the end of this video that you want to listen to Tim McGraw since have not done so yet. You reacted to his song, "Where the Green Grass Grows" last year. Amber got real emotional and loved it, saying it reminded her of her dad. I still remember her tears. Tim has a ton of hits, but had a HUGE cross over hit with Live Like You Were Dying. It was everywhere. It has the most life affirming message you will probably ever hear.

Live Like You Were Dying. I will never forget this song. In 2009, my two sisters and I (I am the youngest) took a week-long road trip. It was the last big trip for the three of us. My middle sister had terminal cancer and passed the following year at the age of 42. On the trip home that summer, Live Like You Were Dying came on the radio. None of us said a word, just cried silently through the song. I still can't listen to it without the tears flowing.

If you want country romantic, listen to Chris LeDoux Just Look at You Girl. Chris was a rodeo champion that recorded country music and was a HUGE influence on Garth. He has other great songs but the simplicity of Just Look at You Girl makes it so heartwarming.

Y'all need to react to a Tim and Faith duet! "It's Your Love" would be a great one to start with! Also Tim Mcgraw's biggest hit, "Live Like You Were Dying". For Garth, I think you'd really love "We Shall Be Free". 🙌

OK Jay, Tim McGraw's Don't Take The Girl, Live Like You Were Dyin', Indian Outlaw, or Just to See You Smile!!!

You should try a country/trucker song “Teddy Bear” by Red Sovine” or Tim McGraw’s “Don’t Take the Girl”. Tissue alerts for both.

Tim McGraw was and IS so popular that Taylor Swift first came on the scene with her #1 Hit Song..."Tim McGraw" We see where her career has gone since then but the live version at the CMAs where she introduces herself to him and Faith before singing "Tim McGraw" is something I'll never forget. Their duet for "Highway Don't Care" is fire!!

My great-grandmother used to play this one a lot, and it's a favorite of mine. She was very much into country music, and like I've said many times, I was blessed to have been exposed to many great songs from a huge selection of genres from the 1940s and on. I was a toddler trying to hum or sing to big band music because my great-grandmother and grandmother were still playing it during the early 1970s.🙂 I think you'd enjoy *Charlie Pride* singing "You're So Good, When You're Bad".

George is an amazing artist. Saw him in concert years ago and it was great. So many great hits. Many are noted below, time and time again. "The Chair", "I Can Still Make Cheyenne", "I Hate Everything", "All My Ex's Live in Texas", "You Know Me Better Than That", "So Much Like My Dad", "When Did You Stop Lovin' Me" and that is barely a hint of his hits!!! Check out some of the female country greats too, like Teri Clark "I've Got Better Things To Do" and "I Just Wanna Be Mad For Awhile". Le Ann Womack "I'll Think of a Reason Later", but you have to listen closely to catch all the details of those lyrics. Lots to explore in country. Keep up the great work.

As a woman who grew up in the Houston region, seeing George at the Houston Livestock & Rodeo was a right of passage growing up. I wish I could convey the magic that was George doing this song in the Astrodome with 60,000 people in attendance. He has a way of looking into the camera when he does the speaking part o this song that makes every woman believe, with every fiber of her being, that he is singing directly to her personally.
