I had so many of these!....Now I just have my Sim's Superply from 78 with Bennett Ad-Tracks. I ran the huge Kryptonic Supersoft in Pink but now have some Sector Nines. My favorite was a 76 G&S Fiber-Flex in red with Bennett Pro's and RoadRiders!

Awesome you still have what you do! The 70s and early 80s were so amazing for skating and the equipment we had! Thank you for sharing your memories!

Hi guys is this museum still open ? I plan to travel from Australia to check out the museums on the east coast
@GeezerSkateCo18 күн бұрын
Awesome! There are some great skate museums here in the States, but sadly ours in Dallas has closed down. Let us know if you decide to come through Dallas as there are plenty of great parks to skate, as well as old skaters who love to tell stories

Hey mate, how are you? I'm confused thinking maybe you're confused. I partied too much in the 80s so I get that way sometimes. You're coming from the land down under and when I hear you say East Coast spots to check out, that's cool, but dude you need to be going to the West Coast. California maybe???? Still the home of everything good about skateboarding. Where it all started and where it continues. Santa Monica, home of Dogtown and the Z boys, what's left of them. I'm in North Carolina, most East you can get. Maybe you were talking about Florida. Not much there, more than here though mate. Mickey mouse, space rockets, and everybody's favorite the bikini. So I said why is he coming from Australia and look around the East Coast? Skateboarding equals West Coast. And your homeboy Fleas out there under the bridge downtown in LA. Alva and the Santa Monica scene it's where we had to learn from through skateboarder magazine. Most everything starts in California and works its way here eventually. Hey mate, do I sound bored? I am. I'm 62, can't skate anymore, Motocross is out, it's too cold to surf, even though that's when we get our waves. In winter time. It's Summertime there I think. Which I shouldn't do. But friend, I sure hope you have a good trip here. Maybe that's what's wrong with me. Those couple good trips I used to take. You'll be arriving in a time capsule. Leave the world's deadliest snakes and spiders there. I'm sorry man. I really just wanted to see if I could get a comment from the outback. So I know you are well aware of that weirdo land called California. And Rush will never release a new record.✌️ me there. Are you taking the time capsule here

What I want to know is out of all of the old school decks that he has which one has the steepest and most concave.....
@GeezerSkateCo4 жыл бұрын
Hi Ronald - great question! Until about 1989, pretty much all skate decks were flat, with very little concave. From '89 to '91, the concave got much steeper and the noses grew longer, which, to me, is the perfect shape, just before everything transitioned to the popsicle. Now most re-issues of the classic decks add in extra concave, so they're not so flat, which makes them easier to ride. Hope that helps!
