For those wondering: The Emperor demanded that the information about Ruyi's dad dying to be kept secret, only the Empress Dowager knew and she agreed with the emperor meaning that the only people who could have told the Enuch that her dad was dead was the Emperor, Empress and the Dowager. No one else would have the information to make that public knowledge and because the Enuch was at the palace the entire time the Emperor and Empress were away on a diplomatic relations meeting (playing ambasadors to other countries) the only person who could have told him was the Dowager who as seen is VERY curious as to how he knew.

Actually, it was the empress who sent the eunuch to deliver the news. Dowager had nothing to do with it.

The empress arranged for Ruyi to know. While she was gone, she also had someone in her 'mean girls club' arrange for the paper money to be delivered to the cold palace. Ruyi knew the moment she saw the paper that she was being set up. So, she instead burned mantras, revealing that the Dowager Empress' own eunuch was being bribed by someone outside of Cining palace.

I've asked this question before, but as of now I haven't received an answer. Question; Was the old Imperial Concubine that tried to stab the Empress Dowager (Zhen Huan) the Noble Lady Delice (from the previous series Empresses in the Palace? I ask because this movie seems to be a continuation of that movie.

最好太后的萬金之軀會到冷宮那種地方啦😂編劇可以再瞎一點 不過古代根本不存在什麼冷宮 后妃失寵被貶所居的地方就被稱作冷宮

確實沒有冷宮啦，但真要較真起來宮廷劇很多地方都與史實不符，像是皇帝是不會到嬪妃宮中過夜的、妃嬪不能閒著沒事就去乾清宮或養心殿見皇帝、更不能隨便帶著吃食給皇帝然後皇帝就直接吃下去、太后不自稱哀家、嬪妃實際上也不自稱臣妾
