Sorry, but also do you leave a small space of no decal on the sides and tip of the nail? I have an issue with them peeling up and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to leave a space so that the top coat seals it in or if I want it to be completely to the edge because it kind of sticks itself? Help!

I will go completely to the edge of the nail on all sides if the decal is big enough, sometimes but not very often you will see me applying them not fully to the side walls but that’s because the decal may not be wide enough to fit the nail... that’s why I like having a Base Color. Just make sure you remove the decal from under the nail with acetone and completely cap the edges with your top coat. It’s important to apply 2 coats of gel polish top coat. I’ve never had one peel up, so follow those steps and you should have no problem. I don’t mind answering your questions 😊

Pretty set!! I finally ordered the mia secrets acrylic powder and the Alpha brush. Just wanted to update you on your code it’s not available and I entered it correctly, however they did offer a discount to me so that was great too. Does the decal slide around?

Thanks! I looked into the code and they said it may have expired, Alpha Brush was going to look into it. Thanks for letting me know! No once you have the decal in place and use the acetone it doesn’t move.

I do all my gel polish clients like this. It has working out so well. I use le chat gelee. Sometimes just the base gel and sometimes base gel and powder. This design is so cute

Just for clarification for Amanda Steuver before purchasing and doing nails in the right way. First it says by gel colour meaning buy a gel colour, is it in a bottle or a pot?, hard gel, is that a soak off gel and then you add acrylic powder for strength? Acrylic powder is what brand you use?. I subscribed to you because I like your work. Are those tips or forms you use. You prepped the mail and then did you add a base gel then gel colour and last acrylic for strength? Thank you

Gel Color is in a pot. Yes Madam Glam Base is a Soak off Gel. You can use any brand of acrylic powder, I just prefer clear acrylic. As stated in the video I did the prep work, applied primer to the nails, then applied Madam Glam Base Coat didn’t cure then sprinkled the acrylic into it. Cured for 60 sec. buffed the nails. Cleaned the dust off with iso alcohol then applied Color and gel polish and cured. I didn’t use any tips or forms for this service it’s done on the natural nail. Also acrylic powder is only put into the base coat no other time. Hope that helps

We LE colors I find they work best if you do the sandwich technique like I did in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYCqZZ6hndxrrq8 with the colors and glitters. Maybe that will help you 😊

Will any acrylic powder work?

Yes I’ve used regular acrylic powder and it works well. I’ve used coloured acrylics and it works well too, but I find the dark colors are messy to sprinkle into the gel base it gets all over the clients skin, so I prefer the clear acrylic and using gel polishes.
