Love the Art Deco look of the prints due to the natural stippling effect of the substrate. Who was the person who disliked this video and why?!?!

Wow! I love the depth you created doing that. When you were layering your template I was thinking, oh my how is that going to work because I thought it would be way too thick. That is just amazing! I am going to try!

Thank you! One of the coolest techniques I have seen since I started watching the many videos out there, I don't have the fusible stuff but you can bet I'll be layering a comparable material in the next 5 minutes, lol 😊

...absolutely a wonderful exercise...it is very beautiful. The assembling of materials has the time consideration, though...but would like to try. Thanks for sharing, Lee!

Just really wonderful! I wonder if you can use the thin foam pieces you get from Michaels, or would they be too weighty?

absolutely incredible, so different, thank you so much for showing us this, please tell me what is Peltex..or its equivelant I just have to try this.....thanks barb UK
@LottieSue10 жыл бұрын
Peltex also goes by the name Pellon is a fabric stabilizer used in collars, cuffs and use as a button hole backing. It comes in three different flavors - 70, 71 and 72 - which are all similar in thickness but with the following differences: Peltex 70 is a sew-in heavyweight stabilizer and although thick and firm, it’s also quite soft and more flexible than the fusible types. Peltex 71 is fused on one side so it’s a little stiffer than Peltex 70. This type is about equal in stiffness to Timtex. Peltex 72 is fused on both sides and it’s the stiffest of all. This type is stiffer than Timtex. You can buy this were fabric is sold. Be sure you get the one that fuses on one side of the fabric. I'm pretty sure you can wash it or rinse it since it's made to go through the laundry. Looks like pretty cool idea!

I is beautiful.Living in Bali, it is paper you used is not available here. Where can I buy it and do they post to Indonesia?
@LottieSue10 жыл бұрын
Jogry: this product is used in the making of clothing as a stabilizer. You'd have to peruse the fabric stores there to find a fusible interfacing or stabilizer .

Can you wash this?
@LottieSue10 жыл бұрын
I will say yes but though it looks ridged it's closer to a thick fabric than anything else and is used in the making of clothing that has to be laundered. I'm going to try this product, wash by hand and lay flat to dry.
